let me a tell u story about how Moe’s ruined my night. I had been driving for nine hours and when i got to my hotel i was a bit famished. i decided to hop on doordash and get something to eat for me and my family. so i saw moe’s and made the mistake of thinking this was a good place to eat. so i ordered our meals and it took 20 minutes to get here. thankful for the speedy service i thought my night was looking up. i was wrong. as soon as we got ready to eat and opened up the back i realized they forgot half my order. how nice. so i call the doordash guy and of course he has nothing to do with it. so i try and call the restaurant and no one is available. so i thought i could fix my mood by enjoying my burrito. wrong. it sucked. it was freezing cold and after abt two bites i realized i couldn’t handle it. i grab my keys and decide to go have a little chat with the guy who made my food austin g. i get to the restaurant and i talk to some lady. i didn’t even get to see mr g. not very g like if u ask me. so i tell the lady she forgot my queso and juice boxes. somehow she had the audacity to tell me that they were out of juice boxes sorry. well u didn’t think to replace them? not the brightest apples these employees. eventually after hard negotiation i managed to get a small drink for my sweet little daughter who wanted the juice box. so i asked her about the queso and she told me “ oh we just forgot that”. i didn’t get a single sorry for ruining my entire night. not only was a i tired i had the horrible taste of cold burrito stuck in my mouth. i left the restaurant feeling betrayed by austin g. i thought i could trust him with my order. i was mistaken. and i had found a new enemy. the lady at the counter. if i could put zero...
Read moreThe drive thru idea needs work. I was in a hurry back to Columbia and saw that this location had a drive thru, which is not common to most Moe's. I thought it would be a good idea to get a great meal quickly while making good time and staying in my truck. When I pulled up, I didn't mind the recording of "Welcome to Moe's!" that played every half-second until you touch the screen or the fact that it takes five minutes to input your order by yourself... What I did mind was that I took the time to put in my order and specify what I want, paid for it right then and there only to have my order be completely wrong. The biggest issue was that this is a drive thru and I didn't notice the order was wrong until I was already on I-26. My burrito was made wrong, they didn't include the queso I paid for and the drink was wrong. My receipt was correct, as I was the one who input the order... but for nearly fourteen bucks, you think someone would have the decency to read the order before they make my food.
If you're going to make this drive thru happen in other Moe's locations, please fix this. There were several cars behind me and I didn't have the time to unwrap my burrito, dig through my chips and sip my drink before leaving. Needless to say, I won't be going through the drive...
Read moreUsed a gift card as our payment method, we paid with it, then the lady at the register said it didn’t go through. so it was tried again, she messed it up and said that we still owed money after using the card. we explained that the payment said approved on the first try and even got us to the tip option. So instead of listening, we were made to pay for the meal twice. We told the manager and he did absolutely nothing about it but say he didn’t know what we wanted him to do about it. when i went back up to show the gift card transaction receipt he was conveniently on a conference call and no one else could help. It’s just ridiculous that no one could own up to the mistake. and went around the whole problem like nothing happened. it literally would have all been fine if the situation was handled better. but the immaturity and unprofessionalism from the manager himself was bewildering. NEVER GOING BACK. There would be no bad blood if it was handled properly. but the lack of customer service is just inexcusable...
