We sat in the drive thru for over 5 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. The cashier had trouble finding a crunchy beef taco, then had trouble finding a flat melt and asked someone if it was in "Specialty" before proceeding to struggle for at least 20 more seconds until we changed our minds. We asked for no cheese and to add rice on the tacos. They charged us $7.31, while crunchy tacos are $1.99 a piece and adding rice is $0.49 per taco. Does not add up. We trade the payment card for the bag of tacos and luckily, since I have food allergies, I opened the bag to check the tacos immediately. I find sour cream and tomatoes right on top. I inform them of this and the cashier takes the bag, closes the window, and comes back pointing to the order on the bag saying they are crunchy tacos. We once again inform them of the sour cream and tomatoes, they say crunchy tacos don't have those ingredients, and we insist they are on the tacos. The cashier has to leave and come back again to ask if we just want it without sour cream and tomato. They ask us to pull around and state they will bring it to us. I open the app to double check the taco ingredients once more and happen to catch the price of the supreme tacos below and realize that must have been the reason for the extra ingredients and money charged. We check the receipt and see "Sup" at the end of the taco order. We pull back around only to wait about 15 minutes behind a car that is finally handed one small bag and a drink. Keep in mind the doors were not open to go inside, nor were any customers inside, so this ie all they had going on. The same cashier attempts to hand us the new bag but we ask for a refund instead and explain why. They cut us off to go get their manager. My fiancé reportedly heard that when the manager was being called, he stated/asked the cashier "what do these 'people' want" in an impatient tone. "People" being used in place of a known racial slur. Mind you, the manager was African-American, however, still a seemingly inappropriate attitude and approach. We informed him of the same information and were able to get our refund with, surprisingly, no hassle. If only the rest of the experience had been...
Read moreI've received mediocre to terrible service depending on who's working. Tonight was the last straw.
So I went through the drive-thru on the way to drop my girlfriend off, and we ordered a number e, Chicken Chalupas meal, a number 7, Steak Quesadilla meal, and an additional chicken quesadilla and something else I can't remember. We asked them to put the Chalupas meal in a separate bag. Our first time around they forgot to give us our Chalupas. I assumed they just neglected to give us a separate bag, but my girlfriend checked the bag and the Chalupas and taco were not there. They weren't terribly busy or anything, but mistakes happen, so we pulled around a second time to get our missing food. The worker then argued with us for 5 minutes about what we ordered, until we finally were able to confirm the order, and when we pulled up to the window, somehow there was still confusion as to what happened to our order. We ended up getting our food, but when we got to her place, we found that the Chalupas were beef instead of chicken. Now frustrated, I headed home to enjoy my meal, only to find that everything was cold, suggesting they weren't cooking everything at the proper temperatures, and the taco shells were stale. They also didn't put the sour cream on my girlfriend's taco, for which we had paid an upcharge. I could give more stories, but needless to say, I'm not sure I'll ever return to...
Read moreOrdered the burrito and taco combo and asked for it with NO TOMATOES please, I can't have tomatoes. Order taker says, "ok, sauce?" I said, "no sauce please." Got my order and I swear the person making the food misunderstood the screen and put EXTRA tomatoes which i asked not to have so I couldn't eat it. Then the young white girl handing me the order wasn't even paying attention and put a handful of Hot sauce in the bag and made me almost go through my window to reach for my bag. I didn't get to eat my food, I had to go put gas so while at Speedway I seen a couple who looked homeless so I explained how I couldn't eat my food and asked if they wanted it and they gladly accepted it along with a few bucks to get drinks and snacks for later. That was the only good thing that came from the bad experience at TB. But the young white girl and the other young mexican girl were busy making Googly eyes at each other and staring at each other. By the way they had their necks lined with hickeys and the staring at each other I figured it probably was the reason for my messed up order and no receipt. Taco Bell has to do better training or stop hirin1g kids to serve and have an appearance code. If some businesses mandate a certain dress code then some shouldn't alow kids to have a necklace of hickey's showing, there's plenty ways to cover them...
