First visit here and the food was fantastic! Steak was cooked perfectly and juicy! Hostess and waitress were great! Only suggestion is to have the salsa for the chilaquiles warm instead of cold. We will be back for sure! UPDATE We returned here at least 4 more times and talk about disappointment! It has gotten worse every single time. Each time, we would try to excuse it, but now we have to throw the towel in and say we will NOT be returning here. Our food came out so cold 🥶 The waitress said the cooks forgot to turn the warmer on that they put the food on. If you were aware of this already, it confuses me why you would let it sit there. The other 2 tables around us also had issues with incorrect orders and cold food. The waitresses tried to make it better, yet the damage was done. We paid $40 to not eat while we were there and she had them make us more food to go. Which is currently sitting in the fridge. My thoughts are this: why not just let me box up the food I already had to take with me, seeing as it was already cold, and offer a discount. I would have been more satisfied had they taken that route. Before we left, I used the restroom and saw that the tile housing the fan was waterlogged and ready to fall. Not sure what has happened here lately but it has been disappointing experiences over and over. Let me add that we traveled @30 minutes to eat here with...
Read moreIt was absolutely the worst version of Mexican food that I have ever eaten. A friend and me went after work, the parking lot was virtually empty. I immediately thought this is not a good sign. I should have listened to my instincts because they were definitely correct. When being seated and receiving the courtesy chips and salsa, we asked for queso. We were told that we would have to wait for our waitress, that was ok though. When the waitress came, we asked for queso and was asked what size. So we got a half. We had to wait for another 10 minutes to get the weirdest version of queso ever. It was like a clumpy and greasy melted mozzarella cheese instead of queso. My friend ordered the California and it came with French fries inside and no pineapple whatsoever. I ordered 2 pollo and chorizo quesadillas. I had to order rice and beans extra. The quesadillas were so greasy that the shells were dripping when I picked them up for a bite. The rice was awful too. It was absolutely the worst food that I have eaten in a restaurant in a long time. Neither of us could get even close because it was so bad. The server was nice and polite. The bill was $55 for the two of us and we both only had...
Read moreI have been coming here for years. The place is consistent with good food, especially the pollo tepic, it is unbelivably good. However, the inside does need some TLC. The seats are starting to look worn down, the ATM was broken for MONTHS, now I am not sure they even have one. There were 2 older waitresses that were our favorite. Always prompt, and friendly, and smiling. Some of these younger, newer waitresses seem to appear grumpy. They look like they are not happy to be there, which can ruin the mood for customers. The place is usually pretty clean, but the last time I went there, the carpets needed to be vacuumed and there were flies flying around, which I have never seen before. Maybe it was an off day, hopefully this is rectified. Wait times seem to have gotten a bit longer too. They used to be so fast with the other waitresses. So all in all, its a decent place, I wouldn't stop going there yet. One last thing. The food, while good, seems to keep creeping up in price,...
