Wendy's — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Updated Review - 10/22/23: On my way to Menards, I remembered I hadn’t eaten lunch. I said to myself, “a Wendy’s Dave Double with cheese, mustard, and pickles sounds delicious.” So, I stopped and ordered one with fries and a Diet Coke. It was exactly what I needed! Delicious! The service was fast and friendly…. And the made my burger exactly the way that I ordered it. When I order a Dave's Double Cheeseburger with pickles and mustard... I will get exactly that.. and it will be delicious! Their lemonade is great! This restaurant is literally falling apart. Between the kitchen door and the women's restroom a wall tile has fallen off and is just laying on the floor creating a trip hazard. The ceiling tiles in the dining area are water stained. The location of the paper towel holder and hand dryer in the men's room is just plain peculiar. If someone is using the dispenser/dryer and another person enters or exits the men's room, the person drying their hands must physically move to make room for the other person. The fountain soda dispenser had ice cubes piling up at the bottom, in the drain area. Half of them ended up on the floor in front of the soda dispenser creating a slip hazard. My wife ordered 2 grilled chicken wraps. I watched the food assembler cut a chicken breast in several pieces to make the 2 wraps. The meat was dry despite the sauce placed on the wrap. She ended up dipping her wraps in my chili to overcome the dry meat. My sandwich and chili were okay. I like the Coke soda fountain. A customer has a myriad of flavor choices. The staff was friendly. The meal was about $14.00 for the 2 of us and she brought her own...

"we'd like a kid's chicken nugget meal." "Do you want a 4pc or 6pc?" "6pc is fine, thank you." "Oh, well we don't have a 6pc meal" "Uhm.. okay, we'll take the 4 I guess" "We also need a 4/$4 with a BLT" "Oh, so you want the 4/$4 instead of the chicken nuggets?" "No. We need a 4/$4 with a BLT and a Sprite." "So you want the 4/$4 with a BLT. Do you want just the sandwich then?" "What? No. The whole thing.. we also need another 4/$4 with a Jr bacon cheeseburger and a Dr pepper" "Okay, so same 4/$4 and a diet Sprite?" "A Dr pepper..."

**Mind you, the screen still did not have the kid's meal, just a 4pc nugget and by the time we got to the window they did not acknowledge us and were not wearing hair nets or gloves.

*The ten minute drive to the Wendy's on rte 50 in Kenosha is definitely worth the trip
