Grand China — Restaurant in Mount Rainier

I had to get the police involved due to the hostility and aggression of the staff after my order was made uncorrectly, I had called the restaurant and complained about my sandwhich that was made wrong(turkey was ice cold, missing topics) and so the lady at the phone asked me to comeback to replace the toppings, then hastily said she would refund me. I asked her numerous times if she wanted me to bring in the incorrect sandwhich and she said “no just come in” which I did and upon arrival she said she cannot refund me without the original sandwhich. I want back home and realized the sandwhich had been buried in the trash because I did not belive it to safe for consumption. I called the restaurant and let them know that I had already disposed of the rancit sandwhich and they told me I was looking for money. During ALL of this I never once asked for my money back. When I spoke with the police officer who met me later at the restaurant he claimed that numerous complaints about rudeness and quality come through to his police line. I had to be escorted by an officer in order to find a resolution. It is extremely cruel and inhumane to make an incorrect order and assume a customer is “money seeking” due to seeking a resolution. I not once asked for a refund nor any money, I was not raised that way however to be accused as such caused significant distress. I am working with law enforcement and the state of Maryland to ensure they cannot continue to attack consumers this way. I am so overwhelmed by the situation, they didn’t resolve my situation until law enforcement was present. PLEASE GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANYONE ELSE, that is what the officer told me himself. I am so sick and disgusting by everyone in this restaurant and hopefully my complaints to the state are will stop the restaurant from continuing to financially and mentally abuse containers. I use to live in the Queens Town area 16 years ago and always ordered from Grand China and when I moved out of state to somewhere that doesn’t sell wings, or subs along with the Chinese food I felt like I was on another planet. I thought all carry outs did lol. Every time we come home to the DMV I make it a point to go to Grand China to bring home some good Chinese food.
