Checkers — Restaurant in Maryland

I’ve been coming to this Checkers late at night for a few years now. I’ve noticed the last few months that the quality of service has gone down noticeably. I used to mostly order in the drive through and it was very fast. Recently I started ordering through the app to try to save time but end up waiting longer for my food than I used to when I ordered at the drive through counter. So many times I’ve given my name and they had to ask me what I ordered, then looked around, and then looked like they were just making my order after I arrived despite me arriving at or after the scheduled pick up time. This last visit tonight, there were two cars in front of me in the mobile pick up line and each car was there for 5+ minutes. I waited in line for 10 minutes and then waited 3-5 minutes for them to make my order. Definitely not “fast” food. Also when I drove up tonight the guy at the window had an open bag in his hand (which he had when the last driver drove away) and asked if I had two baconzillas, etc. I did not order that. I told him “No” and gave him my name and then he asked again if I had the baconzillas. If I had wanted, I could have taken them without the person who ordered it being the wiser. Also I have no clue why it was in his hand in an open bag as the other car drove away (the mobile orders usually are sealed with your order and receipt). Given the other reviews, I’m wondering whether the driver before me returned it as it wasn’t his order which brings a sanitary issue into question. While I was waiting, another employee tried handing me another order, and I asked her if it was my order and told her my name. She then looked confused, started speaking to the original employee (unsure if she understood me), who then handed me my order. Honestly I’ll still probably come here for convenience purposes but if you’re looking for a quick bite and don’t have patience would not recommend this Checkers especially...

Disgraceful staff, disgraceful service just 10/10 disgusting. The young woman who took my order was laughing and joking I had to repeat a $50 order 3 times to make sure she got it right and yess you guessed it it was still wrong. There was a gentleman there when I arrived disgruntled because he had ordered 2 burgers and it was going on 30 min with no one in either drive thru. A second gentleman walked up and for the next 10 min was trying to confirm with checkers employees that he had a call in order. My $50 order was placed and completed before either of those gentleman's orders which just shouldn't be the case. Employees set my milkshakes outside the window and slammed it closed. When asked for a larger bag I was told there were none, seconds LL after a employee said there were bags right there. The manager I'm guessing who was wearing a blue shirt told him to shut up and get back to work. I took the food home only to find out that my children said the bread tasted funny... Neither of them finished their burgers Thank God. My husband and I finished our burgers, a couple hours later he had the runs and I became violently ill, so much so that visiting the emergency room became a option. Thankfully I'm a nurse and was able to keep things under my control but it's almost 16 hrs later and I'm still sick can't keep anything down. I called and filed a complaint but if your reading this DO NOT EAT AT THIS...

No greeting as I got to the drive thru to pick up my online order. I asked the girl who was distracted laughing with her coworkers and checking her phone before opening the window. Lady, I just wanted my food and move on with my life. I work just like yall do, in retail and fast food. I don't get yall mentality when you have customers who do online orders so that they can have minimal interaction with you and move on. The way I like it. Like, get your food and get out of my face. Lol. I don't understand why employees don't appreciate the non problematic customers. I sure appreciate them. Anyway. Customer service today was trash because of that. I had to sit and check because she wouldn't verify. Only for her to have to get it made anyway. I had to wait so I knew this order was never even prepared.

Burger - 0/10 the burger was so cold. 😭😭😭 why would yall do this?

Fries - 10/10 because they were super hot and they're checkers Fries. You can't mess that up. Unless they're cold.

But cheers to the driest burger ever served to man in Queens Chapel. Dry burger city! Come here to get laughed at and have your food laughed on too. Until it dries itself out. (Made the order from the parking lot, there's no reason it was served like that unless they had it sitting on the heater waaaay past the limit it should've come off. It was extremely slow...
