We dined here this past weekend (on 4/10/21) Food was good and I would give that 4 stars , but me and my family had horrible service -I mean it was bad. We ordered and paid at the counter, and as we always do, we tipped 20% UPFRONT. That was a mistake. When we placed our order for a family of 4, we were told that they only had enough pupusas for two orders, so we grabbed them, and two burritos. When the food came, what my son and husband got were half orders--each entree should have come with two pupusas, but they gave them one each instead and charged 1/2 of the regular entree price. OK, we thought, that was miscommunicated, but no problem, we will order more food. NO that was not possible... our waitress said that since we ordered, other orders came in and we would have to wait over 30 minutes for more food. Really? My husband and son left hungry because they would not accommodate us. The other issue- it was cold outside and I asked the cashier and the waitress to please turn on one of the outdoor heaters while we dined - I asked 3X and no one cared to do it. If you go here, I would suggest you leave a cash tip if the service is good, and NOT tip upfront or you might be disappointed. Note to owners - If your going to ask for a tip at the time of ordering, please follow through with...

Cool little place. It’s a converted dental office, but feels more like your visiting someone’s house. Great food! Varied selection. Nice selection of beers on tap. I was in Mt. Shasta City for a week and ate here three days in a row. Probably the best Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had. The Peruvian beans were delicious. I had the tri-tip dinner the first night. I had the seared Ahi tuna tacos the next night, which I wouldn’t have ordered if the meal the night before hadn’t impressed me so; it’s too easy for places to really mess up Ahi tuna. They did it right. I sampled the homemade salsa that was on the side after finishing the tacos (they didn’t need any salsa to add flavor); it was great with a smoky, chipotle type flavor. Finally, I had the chicken enchiladas on the third night. A friend had come and joined me; he had a bacon cheeseburger and really liked it. The service was great every time. Friendly, answered my questions, engaged in conversation with me, etc. I only wish I lived in town and could go there...

$17 for some chips w cheese and barely anything else on top. The service was awkward. Asked for more beans and the staff was all confused and uncomfortable. Then they wanted to charge extra. I made a face and my friend offered to pay. I respond to her saying something like these nachos are $17 and they skimp out on loading them.? They bring the beans. They didn't end up charging us for the beans. But the fact that they serve nachos and skimp out on putting other ingredients is just not a vibe I want to be apart of. It's chips and cheese. Load up the beans and salsa and no guacamole? Something more if you want to charge people that much for nachos....I'll never come here again. The scarcity mindset and lack of warmth in the overall personality is what gives this place one star. Maybe invite musicians in the place cuz y'all need soul in that business. Wanted to go to the Indian place but they...

I'm so excited we have a new yummy restaurant in town. Very tasty, very fresh, local meat (which probably means beef is organic, even if not labeled so), clean, great service, outdoor patio, good prices. I had the carne asada street tacos for lunch (sorry I took a bite, see photo). Meat is wonderful, not chewy like some carne asada can be and served with the best salsa! I had to bring my husband and kids back for dinner the next day. I wish I took a photo. I had the tacos again, which for the dinner plate comes with chips and salsa and amazing Peruvian beans. My husband had the burger which he said was the best he has had in a long time, the best in town. Even my 2-year-old and 5-year-old ate the beans and the burger (it's hard to please them). The burger came with a salad and a baked sweet (or regular) potato. The sweet potato (and burger) melted in your mouth. I'm excited to try more on the menu.

Great little restaurant in Mt Shasta. The outside seating was nice since we had our dog with us. We had the nachos, papusas, and the pulled pork sandwich. It was all really good. Unfortunately we were so hungry and the food looked so good, I didn’t get a photo of the food itself. My two boys want to go back tomorrow, hopefully I’ll remember to get a picture of the food then. Edit: We went back and again enjoyed our meals. The burrito was okay. The lettuce got all limp and soggy, so I pulled it out. Otherwise the burrito was good.
