KFC — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

Worst customer service ever. Placed an order Sunday evening thru drive thru. Was charged and given wrong order. Had to refund and ring up correct order. Got home and was missing the popcorn chicken that was ordered for my grandkids. Didn’t realize until home and live 25 minutes outside Mt. Vernon in the country so decided not to go back but did try to call, no answer. In less than 48 hours I was in town and took the receipt for a refund of what we didn’t receive. Was told they don’t refund after that amount of time. And that I should have called. I explained I did call but no one answered. I was given a dirty look and told she always answers the phone. I said again that I did call this number on the receipt. She went on about call waiting. But she never clicked over to ask me to hold or anything. Wanted to give me the chicken which I didn’t want today. Grandkids not even at the house today. Mind you I ordered out because I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to cook. Husband was upset after what he went through at the drive thru and now not having all the food he paid for. Grandsons upset because they didn’t get their order. Now this lady is basically calling me a liar when I said I called. She went to speak with her GM and came back and said he agreed to refund this time but next time I need to call. Now I’m really ticked off and again said I did call. She replied then You need to call more than once. This time I lost it and cursed that I wasn’t spending my whole evening trying to call. She said, you didn’t need to curse at me. You were going to get a refund but not now and slammed the window shut and locked it. Yes I shouldn’t have cursed but I don’t appreciate being called a liar numerous times. And maybe they should have gotten the order right in the first place. Never again will o eat at a KFC! This is an awful place to buy food. Worst pricing ever! 30 dollars for an 8 piece of chicken???? I can buy 2 whole rotisserie chickens for half that price! A 3 Oz container of mashed potatoes or Cole slaw - 6 bucks!!! 1 tiny container. Not even enough for a single serving. I can buy a whole bag of potatoes for less than that! This place charges way too much for the little bit you get. I bought a 20 dollar "fill up" box, last night for me and my daughter, and she was still complaining she was hungry after eating. The only "filling up" that was being done was their pockets with our money! Do yourselves a favor and go to little Caesars right across the drive where you can get 2x 8 slice pizzas for 10 bucks. I couldn't get the app to let me order the Super Bowl special, 8 pieces for $10. I called the store and they agreed someone would help us figure it out if we came into the store, although they wouls not be permitted to extend the deal at the cash register, it had to be ordered on-line. At first, noone knew how to get the app to work on my Android phone. Then "Cassie" offered to try to order it on her phone. It worked! She even paid for it with her card and then we reimbursed her in cash. Cassie saved the day and the deal! Honestly, the app needs to work easier, every employee should know how to work the app and when the app won't work, forget the app and give the customer whatever deal they are trying to order on-line.
