Subway — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

There were two employees working. They were both barely attentive and neither was very pleasant. They only had wheat and honey oat bread at 1pm on Sunday. They were skimpy with the meat on my sub about two inches on the one end was bare. I dined in and stayed for 2 1/2 hours. Not once did either employee come out to the dining area to clean the tables or floors that were dirty when I got there. Shortly after I sat down there was an altrication at the counter with a customer. I'm not sure what happened. I heard the customer say, "That's NOT how you speak to a customer!" There were also customers leaving because they were waiting too long. Once there were no customers the employees retreated to the back and I never saw one them again. The other came out twice to help customers only after the customers called, "Hello?" to the back room. This Subway is almost as bad as the one inside Walmart (which is so horrible that I refuse to go to that Subway). I think the owner of the Subway stores in Mount Vernon should lose his franchise. He hires only minors with bad attitudes that do as little work as they can get away with. This franchisee is leaving them without adult supervision and probably for most of them this is their first job and should not be left in...

How hard is it to make a sub when the sub was ordered online and it was marked as TOASTED for both of the subs on the order? One sub was made the way it was supposed to be as in it was TOASTED and the cheese was melted. I opened up my sub and low and behold my bread was not crispy like it should have been and my cheese was not melted. Its pretty bad when you have to warm your own sub up in the microwave because someone could not pay attention to a sub being TOASTED and my cheese melted. I am not sorry for being weird and I like my cheese being melted when I have it on a sandwich. This location was already my least favorite place to go to and from now on I will make sure that any food I order from subway with be at one of the other locations. Went to this subway earlier today with a group of friends, about 40 minutes before I had to go to work. I've never bought from this one before. The two workers in front around 6 pm. were SOOOOOOOOOOO SLOW. After waiting in line (with only 6 customers ahead of us) for over 20 minutes, we almost left,even though we were next, because I was going to be late to work. Thing is, I didn't want to waste my friends time either. So today I ended up being late to work for the first time, because we waited in line for so long. What should have been 5 minutes, ended up being 6 times as long. The two girls were ridiculous. They literally put each piece of meat and cheese on, one piece at a time and very slowly.
