My whole family became very very sick. It was a nightmare. We used to love this place. They advertise things on their menu that they don't have or do. Like the Tandori is supose to be on a sizzling skillet with rice on side and Naan, they just throw it all together on a plate mostly just rice, with pita bread. For 14.00. If you order extra garlic Naan, you get old jar garlic overly slathered on some pita. I am just in shock at the last few visits. The sganaki (9.00) was watery soup, the chicken, oh my gosh the chicken! It was literally all gristle and blood veins, all the worse parts of the meat. My son is now hesitant to eat chicken. The cups were stained and sticky. The payment book was sooooo disgustingly filthy. There were kids running BAREFOOT in and out of the kitchen, and a child was serving also. The chef comes out and stands over you making sure your eating the food and liking it. When I said I didn't want a Togo box for my left overs, he started asking me why amd if I liked the food. Extremely uncomfortable. All while two of their young children are bickering and yelling in the background. I don't understand why none of this is being honestly said? I'm in shock, and confused on why they don't have to follow the health departments rules. What makes this restaurant diffrent from the others. Why don't they have to follow health standards? I am so mad at how sick my family got. And how much we spend for 3 people. $70. It's like a smack in the face and Guts for that matter, of what this place once was. I miss the old owner, and the way the restaurant was ran, and kept up, cleaned etc. The food tastes bad compared to the past owners food. Such a sad loss. BEWARE! And don't say you weren't warned. Finally someone is...

the atmosphere is warm and inviting, i dont feel like i'm in a restruant, i feel like i've been invited into the home of some of the kindest and warmest people i've ever met and they are treating me to dinner.
the owners will chat with you, they will ask about your day and they will genuinely care for you. if you tell them you're writing a book they will remember that and ask.
the owners of this place are the kindest and most welcoming restaurant owners i've encountered in my 40 short years.
lets talk about the food! the lamb, great scott the lamb. i've never in my life had a gyro what was so soft and spiced so perfectly. the lamb in the indian dishes too! do yourself a favor, try to masala with the lamb. you will meet god.
all of their sauces are incredible, i've yet to try one i dont love. some of them sound like i wouldn't really care for them but when i try them i am floored at how good it is.
the spanakopita and the grape leaves too, it really feels like everything on this menu is targeting me directly, even things i dont normally like.
the food has made me cry at least once here, it feels like being home.
The kind people who own and operate this place have also made me cry. THEY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent here for lunch yesterday and honestly, the experience was disappointing. Itās supposed to be a nice desi restaurant, but the way we were treated didnāt sit right. A lady in a red t-shirt (not sure if sheās staff or the owner) gave us paper plates, while other customers were served on proper white plates ā the fancy kind. Felt a bit off, like we were being treated differently.
Another staff member was polite ā he gave us water and placed forks and spoons on our table. But then the same lady came and took the spoon and knife away and just said, āIāll give you napkins.ā Like⦠what? That was confusing and kind of rude.
The worst part was seeing her touch the bowl of rice (like a big bucket) with her bare hands no gloves. Thatās just not okay, especially in a restaurant. Iām not someone who usually writes reviews, but I felt this needed to be said. If sheās the owner, she really needs to understand how to run a business professionally. And if she works there, proper training is a must. Everyone should be treated with respect ā no double standards or...
