If you find yourself in Knox County, Ohio, and are considering a visit to the Aldi location in Mount Vernon, I strongly recommend exercising caution. Based on a recent experience, it appears that the store is significantly understocked, and the organization of aisles is subpar. Additionally, the overall customer service left much to be desired.
One particular interaction with a cashier was particularly concerning. The cashier handled my items in a careless manner, resulting in damaged goods, including eggs, which were improperly packed in my cart. This lack of attention to detail, coupled with an unprofessional attitude, left a negative impression.
While I understand that every business may face challenges, it is my hope that the management and corporate teams at Aldi take steps to address these issues and consider a complete overhaul of the store’s operations. Ensuring better organization, stocking practices, and customer service training would greatly enhance the shopping experience.
A formal complaint has already been submitted to corporate, and I remain hopeful that positive changes will be made to improve this location for...
Read moreLove shopping at aldi in general, but this store, in particular, has extremely poor customer service. Both times I've been in here, I've had checkers with poor attitudes. One guy literally left my stuff on the belt and walked away and said he had to go. Today, I was in, and the older lady didn't say hi or anything. I just walked up and dumped my bags out carelessly. Which cracked one of the eggs. And squished the chips in the bag. If you don't like your job, find a different one. I would never throw someone's stuff around. Even my 9 year old got in the car and was like, why would she dump our stuff out like that? She never said anything beyond my total. I refuse to do self check out. But I also refuse to shop at a store where their employees treat you like an inconvenience. Do better it costs you nothing to be a polite person. You are literally setting the example for...
Read moreRecently the big remodel was completed. My wife waited until the big rush was over to go in and get what she needed. Being a gluten free family and aware of what we put into our bodies, she couldn't wait to get back into the store to get the organic and gluten free items they carried before the remodel. Today, the major disappointment officially set in. When she got into the great looking store, she quickly realized that the selection of gluten free had been minimized to an "end cap". Instead of the organic section growing, the shelves seemed to be filled with more of the very items that we thought Aldi was against. We're happy that the store is more modern and updated but just wish the healthy food selection was better than what it was before the remodel. We would have given this store a 5 star rating......
