Scoops N Such Ice Cream — Restaurant in Mount Washington

The Cherry Cordial Ice Cream, Here at Scoops N Such, Is simply so delicious, That I just can't hush.

I planned to get something blueberry, As I walked across the lot, And had to rage about my visit, Before I actually forgot.

So check this. There's alot going on before we even get inside, we've got a 3 year old a 1 year old, a 7 year old, a 41 year old, a 43 year old and a full grown man that acts like the above mentioned 3 year old. Nonethless, when we walk in, we are a whole force to be reckoned with. We've got kids wanting to touch everything, everyone wanting samples; the patience the two girls had tonight to just deal with us (thank you) I was a little torn between sample decisions myself and could have sampled several, but that Cherry Cordial had a hue of pink, and a beautiful fresh cherry appearance and anything else looked to be a disappointment. OF COURSE it didn't stop with a sample for me. I ordered a scoop- and probably should have got a second, because it was that good. The fresh cherries. The chocolate chunks- that weren't so chunky that it's over powering- and the cherries were just .... chefs kiss. 👩‍🍳 Seriously.

As far as the others.... The kids ordered Superman ice cream, of course. I believe the man child ordered a milk shake, lol, and he was rather quiet during our visit so I'd say he was pretty satisfied. And lastly the orange sherbert is enough of a favorite that it's ordered from a local frequent who chooses to stick with their normal order.

Update: Stopped by again tonight. Very fast service with almost no wait. Got a chocolate milkshake and an orange freezy. I especially enjoyed the chocolate milkshake. The chocolate flavor was rich and deep, better than most places. I do think it's on the pricier side though. Solid 4 star ice cream shop.

Alrighty, stopped by this new ice cream shop for an evening treat about 1 hour before closing. They have a good selection and choices of flavors. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. This is a nice little place, but I'd say there's still a few things to improve. First thing is, they ran out of some staple flavors. I know I got there with only an hour left, but it's bad when an ice cream shop runs out of ice cream. The line was running all the way out the door, so I do understand the amount if time it took. About 30min in line, then 15min to get our order.

I'd say it's worth stopping by, but maybe avoid the late evening hours. I will try to stop by again, but this time...

Absolutely the best place to go for ice cream. I had the banana split. It was made the old fashion way. It is big and beautiful and so good. Sorry no pictures because I did not think to until it was nearly gone. Oh well, that gives me another excuse to go back. My granddaughter got a scoop of strawberry and helped me eat mine.
