First and foremost I've been coming to this place for years. I will say right out of the gate that the service here is the best you'll find imo. The ladies that run the place, food and drinks are awesome! Second, the food is incredible too. Surprisingly good for a bar.

We started going every Tuesday night for Trivia night. It was so much fun with our friends.

Then, for some reason they changed the trivia system and host. The guy that was running it was doing great! Always on time, fun innovative scoring, etc. Then they switched. I won't pretend to be an expert around trivia or how to host one, I can only speak to my experience and that of our friends and some of our competitors. It went incredibly downhill, fast. Trivia almost always starts late. Not by a little... By a lot. Because the theme nights get very busy, you have to get there 1 to 2 hours early if you want a table. The 5 minute breaks between rounds often go 10 to 15 minutes dragging the it out further. Multiple times throughout the trivia there are problems... Always with the problems where you have to go stand in line and wait to have your score fixed because of one issue or another.

On a recent themed night a competitor of our came up and said good to see you all, we go elsewhere for trivia on Tuesdays now to follow the other host, only came back here for the friends theme. We followed suit.

I don't think gallant fox will care as they're as busy as they can be so if trivia regulars go elsewhere but the seats are still full, meh. But I hope they work out the consistency of their trivia issues so we could return one day. But for now, we will truly miss the service and food because the trivia has become truly problematic and not fun. We started following heinsight trivia at other venues as its just a better experience.

Let me start by saying we didn’t try the alcohol. If we just went for beers and to hangout I’m sure this would have been great…. but we went for food….and that was a mistake. Cut the price in half and maybe it goes up a star, maybe 2. With the lack of a kids menu(I knew this beforehand so it’s not a negative) I told my son he may not be able to finish his whole burger thinking it would be a decent size for $11. It was not. It was maybe the thickness of 1.5 McDonald’s burgers….to add fries or any side other than a bag of chips it was 4 dollars. So $15 for a burger and fries. I definitely expected more for that kind of money. The chicken tenders were not fresh, definitely frozen and hard as a brick. Without a server we had to go to the bar to ask for refills, and anything extra we might need. That wouldn’t be so bad if they also don’t even have a default 15% tip. It was 20% and up. Obviously you can select your own tip, but how can you expect a tip when you have the customers order there own food, and get their own refills. It’s a shame because I really wanted to try this place since it opened. Look I don’t often post reviews and it might sound like I’m being whiney for no reason but I was thoroughly disappointed. My family of four (wife and two kids) got soft drinks, a $10 app, and food was $79 before tip. For food quality that was sub par. I hope it gets better, because with the great drinking atmosphere this place can really be a place...

Well I finally mustered enough money up to come eat here since they opened. I knew the prices were going to be ridiculous. I had to pay 17.00 just for a burger and fry. The fries aren't even included.. only chips. Def wasn't worth it either... his 16.00 fish basket tasted like fast food. My child didn't even eat her favorite.. chicken tenders. After finishing I looked down and there was hair in my food. I know it wasn't mine because I'm bald from cancer. My labs are low so I'm very picky about where I go also I try to be selective and eat at clean places so I don't get any infection from my transplant. I was highly upset to leave and see Roach traps with roaches in them. Def won't be returning. Server was nice thank goodness because you have to put your tip before you eat when you order at your table. I'm def against that as I pay for whatever the service quality was and that's something you won't...
