Update: This location has improved dramatically since my last visit and review. There is more and different seating, and the setup has been changed. There is still honey on offer, but the entire atmosphere is better and more coffee-house. There is a new owner and you can certainly tell! Happy to be coming back here.
This location is losing its appeal quickly. The amount of seating for customers has steadily decreased to be replaced by shelves of overpriced honey. There is ONE table in the coffee shop side, we are not interested in sitting near shelves of honey. There are bright fluorescent lights that ruin the coffee house atmosphere. Despite this being the majority of the sales, according to one of the owners responses, the business model remains focused on the honey with little emphasis on making the coffee shop welcoming for people who want to relax and drink some of the delicious coffee they have on offer. We have not returned in months due to the horrible seating arrangements and lighting, which we were assured by the owner were temporary when they first opened. Was hoping that this place was going to fill the coffee shop void in Mount Washington, but obviously the owner is more interested in the honey, than giving the community...
