Disclaimer: I must admit that I was drawn to this restaurant to challenge bold claims such as "Best Chinese Buffet!" and "I Tell Everyone to Eat Here!"
I stand here today humbled by the fact everyone associated with this establishment (Front to Back End) should be very proud of their work, and the constant 5-star ratings you see here are well earned.
Overview:
Mostly traditional dishes, and the creative liberties that arenāt your typical "take-out style plattersā are nothing short of masterpieces. Customary American/Chinese Buffet atmosphere, which is a nostalgic itch of mine. Very clean, despite the stigma of buffet's typically not being the most sanitary of organizations. Very attentive staff for seating and drink refills. My visit was on a Thursday morning, with light foot traffic, and a respectable $10.50 bill. (Dinner/Weekends may vary from this.)
Food Review: Pepsi Products (Fountain) - Refreshing soda syrup to carbonated water balance.
Fried Rice - El dente texture, onions were sliced thicker than traditional, but were prepared to offer a sweet parity to the dish.
Teriyaki Chicken - Well seasoned, sliced, and sweet with great texture. Green peppers and sweet onions made for a well-balanced dish. (So good, forgot I was writing a review and got seconds.)
General Tso's Chicken - Tasted strongly of sweet and sour sauce. The texture was dry, sauce seems to remove the fact that the chicken was fried.
Roasted Potatoes - Savory, perfectly cooked, but lacking salt. This was not really a problem as shakers are provided at the table.
Egg Rolls - Traditional, but in the best way. Could eat 100 if my stomach were big enough. (Seriously Chef's Kiss)
Sliced Chicken - Very tender, well-seasoned smoky flavor. Perfect! (Wanted to lift the whole tray-warmer and bring it back to my table.)
Crab Rangoon- Traditional: 95% cream cheese 5% crab.
Steamed Rice - Perfect texture Jasmine style. Ample sized rice cooker for those like me that prefer it.
Hawaiian Chicken - This was a first for me. Perfectly cooked chicken thighs with orange glaze and pineapple. Glaze was savory and sweet, but not overly (which I was afraid of)
Sushi - Spicy Crab and California Roll: Fresh and traditional with good presentation.
Irony: Fortune Cookie Reads - "You become known for your generosity."

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been coming here well over 5 years now. ALWAYS great!!! Why, it's my most frequented Chinese Buffet in the area (and the best lunch prices too). The owner, Joy, and her husband are extremely nice and it seems they only have one full-time waitress but she is quite on the ball! Yes, "help wanted" sign is always in the window... Even the children helpers/seaters know their stuff! It is not the 100% best buffet food I have ever had but is awesome for the price! [HELPFUL HINT: Very good Hot&Sour soup. If you are ever at a Chinese place and the H&S sucks then I bet the rest of your meal will too!] :-O Suchi is good. A bit lacking on the salad bar toppings and the Hibachi bar is now gone but that seems par for the course - and the only thing I could even think to negatively criticize. I do miss these Hibachi bars (at ALL the Asian buffets I can find). Even if I didn't create a dish for them to cook, the vegetables (esp the minced garlic and mushrooms) I always considered as an extension of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe go to this restaurant a lot and the owners are so polite to everyone. It used to be a small take out spot and now it's a buffet. The Cantonese dishes are amazing, as well as the sushi. I did see a couple reviews that were so unnecessary mostly because of how it's completely wrong considering I know some of u IRL. People feel the need to complain when not getting their way (free). We always see ppl trying to screw over this business. I can't confront any of you IRL but grow up. If you hate it, don't return. You're putting hate in a place with good ppl. Respect them and they'll respect you. Mount Washington has changed morally. Don't be a typical d bag. š and get those facts straight, it was the Mongolian grill that was...
