UPDATE: 7/2/24 Sonic continues its tradition of disappointment. 25 minutes in the drive-thru with 3 cars ahead of me. Only thing to come out was drinks.... Never again. I've spent my last penny here. Customer service no longer exists, and the term "fast food" is a punchline to an unfunny joke. My patience is gone.
Slow in the drive thru. PEOPLE WORKING DRIVE THRU SHOULD NOT HAVE FOOD IN THEIR MOUTHS, OR TALKING WHILE EATING. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND VIOLATES HEALTH CODE. This happened to me today. Address this or it will be reported to the Health Department. It should be reported anyway. UPDATE: After a YEAR you'd think things would have improved, but as with everywhere else around here, you really have no other choice and it shows in their lack of customer service. MAYBE, if while taking orders you actually LISTENED to what the customer is ordering instead of the latest gossip, you could get more orders right! Read moreI hate to leave bad reviews like this, but this sonic is just the worst. I understand good help is hard to find these days, but for the price of Sonic food, they really need to get it together. I quit going to this location years ago, but have found myself there twice these last few weeks due to late ball game nights. Both times were horrible experiences. The wait for food was over 30min. Both times, the screen said someone was on their way with our order, but it took another 10-15 min for them actually to come. By the time we got it, the food was all cold. Last night, I ordered blasts with extra candy. The only candy in mine was what was sprinkled on top and my plain burger had no cheese on it. The car hop was friendly and apologetic and brought me slices of cheese out, however, it was an overall terrible experience once again. Peace out Mt Grove Sonic. Read moreMy girlfriend and I stopped for a bite on the road and rang in with Miakayla answering. It crackled over the speaker I'll admit, but she was rude with the order process. We ordered a grilled chicken with fries and Fanta and she took it as fries with cheese and a coke, after the "is that all" we said no we don't want cheese fries and not coke a fanta she said the total and thank you while hanging up. As our order was wrong and incomplete we hit the button again she answered again in the same unenthusiastic tone and we corrected the initial order and added the cheeseburger as well. The carhop that delivered the food never announced who they were and spoke really fast where you couldn't understand, handed our food and walked back. I'm not a mystery shopper but I know that's not how your supposed (trained) to answer and deliver food but this is not it. I just hoped for more when...
