Update June 12th, 2024: We had some family in town and of course decide to bring them to Diamond knot to show them one of our favorite places, but kinda wish we went somewhere else, simply because of our waiter. Don't remember his name but he didn't know much and he blamed on the fact that he 'only works like once a week'. We ordered an app first and drinks first and mentioned that we wanted to get that before our main food and put off ordering for 20 mins or so. We got our drinks and then put in our food order. It wasn't until then that he informed us they were out of pasta and the hot rock machine was broken. He should've let us know that when giving us our menus not 20 mins after so we all had to quickly change our orders. Ended up getting our food another 20 later, still no app. 10 mins later, nacho appetizer showed up but still missing an entree, he didn't really seem to care. Came back a while later and asked what we were missing and we pretty much reordered one of our burgers. Brought us a pitcher of water with plastic cups since we he didn't want to carry 5 waters to us. Had to retrieve our own extra napkins. Ordered a second drink never showed up so we just told we didn't want it anymore and asked for the check. And never asked us for our our # for rewards
Have been to Diamond knot quite a few times and they have really deserved a review since the first visit. Food has always been pretty dang good. Had the street corn dip as an appetizer - tons of great flavor and spice while not being too heavy of an appetizer, Jalapeño popper burger -finally decided to give this one a try and it was delicious with yes cream cheese, bacon and Jalapeño, and the crazy club with so many layers of amazing flavor. Great selection of beers too. Another great burger is the Fundamental, just order a knot tot on the side and smash it in the middle of the burger, they use to actually have this on the menu. Read moreMy wife and I were just at the Mountlake Terrace Diamond Knot Brewery for dinner tonight, March 26, 2024. We had an unpleasant and shocking end to our experience there. At end of our meal, the manager came up and said that I was welcome to come back, but my wife was "fired" and not welcome to return. We have been coming to this brew pub ever since it opened. Tonight, there were three problems with our order. We were okay with the first 2 errors until they brought us the wrong pizza. My wife went to the host reception and asked to speak with the manager about the pizza. When he came, he said that she was a "Karen" and that she was "fired." He said that I was welcome to come back but that she wasn't. He was clearly stressed; we noticed that the restaurant was hosting a large group in the banquet area. When she asked to explain why she was not allowed to return, he said that he was not going to "play that game." He would only say that there was a problem last year, but he wouldn't give any details. She asked what the problem was, thinking that there must be some mistake or that this was a joke, but he insisted that she was no longer welcome at Diamond Knot, and he refused to answer her questions. He just kept saying that he was "not playing that game." It was such a surprise because we are always asked to provide feedback, even at the bottom of our receipts, but for some strange this manager was not willing to accept any of it. We even had staff coming up to us afterwards and apologizing to us for the manager's behavior. We hope that Diamond Knot review this manager's customer service, staff relations, managerial style, and stress management. Read moreNever have I been so disappointed in a place that I went to once and had an amazing experience and for my second visit had the worst. First of all sat down close to 6:20ish took me and three of my friends a bit to order let's say 6:40ish we ordered. My friend and I ordered our burgers with sweet potato tots. So we are sitting and waiting and 15 minutes later our waitress, Isa, let's us know that they don't have sweet potato tots available. So we get regular tots and let me tell you we were respectful and understanding but I was hella confused why it took 15 to 20 minutes later to tell us the tots weren't available. So we wait. The table that came after us gets their food and now the four of us are wondering what's going on. So our waitress. Isa, when she finally comes by the table again which was not a lot and it's 7:36 At this point says she will check and low and behold our food comes out but the catch three out of four of our meals is luke warm. Isa gets the manager who says he will correct my check but I'm sitting there like I'd like to eat hot food so I say that my burger is cold and he goes what would you like me to do for you at this point I'm extremely upset that I can't eat and ask for him to remake it and box it up please. Thinking it wouldn't be messed up again I check it after i 've left and my burger is missing things. So twice my meal got messed up. What a great way to have dinner with my friends. Thanks for taking the burger off my check and remaking it but also thanks for screwing up the remake. Should have been smarter and checked before leaving that's my bad but I shouldn't have had to worry about it getting messed up TWICE in one night.
