This small eatery is a big secret tucked away in middle of Mountlake Terrace and in the same strip mall as Double D Meat and MLT BrewPub. It offers a breath of authentic Thai noodle dishes that nobody else in the area has. The cuisine here is of authentic THAI and should not be confused with numerous Vietnamese Pho’ outlets or the also very good Cantonese/Hong Kong style Wonton Noodle House in Edmonds. The Tom Yum Noodle is satisfyingly tasty and with a good kick to it. The Goey Teaw Ruea (Boat Noodle) makes me feel as if I’m eating on the side of the canal at a Thai Floating Market; a typical offering by the many noodle boats that used to frequent Thai waterways of an era’s gone by. I also recommend Chicken Wings as appetizer as they’re crispy but without any batter; again very Thai style. I can’t recommend BW Noodles enough. You will not be disappointed in...
Read moreLiving just across the street, we have dined at this place several times now. They also recently started $7 lunch specials, so we tried that too. The food overall is not so bad, but nothing special. The reason for the low star is the quality and the freshness of the ingridients. The meat in our phadthai and crispy chicken was dry and tough to the point where we had to throw away some of them. It absolutely tasted like recooked and microwaved texture. We really want to come here often, but in order for that happen, they need to improve the food quality and stop dropping the price. People are willing to pay more for good food. Even 1 dollar feels wasted if you serve bad food, and that is exactly whay your doing now. Hope this review helps the business. (The lunch special menus are the worst. Portion wise, taste wise,...
Read moreOh wow, where do I start? Friendly, welcoming staff, cute table set-ups...but the FOOD, the food is where it's AT! I am a big fan of Thai cuisine, and my spouse lived in Thailand when he was younger and we both give this place all our enthusiastic thumbs up :)!
What we ate: Tod Mun (yum) Pad Thai (double yum) Kanoom Jeen (so good I almost couldn't share) chicken wings (my son snarfed every one of them) and we loved ALL. OF. IT. The Kanoom Jeen was spectacular - if you like a red curry, give it a try! I also love that they make most of their own sauces in-house (I may have eaten half of the jar of pickled chilis in the clear sauce, sorry...) and there is a wide range of choices and nuance in the self-add spice department. They are a hidden gem and a family restaurant in MLT that my family and I will be sure...
