My husband wanted to try this place so we took him here for Father's Day. We were surprised that there was no food available. We ordered flights to try out their beers and ciders. There was only one worker at the bar and one man setting up tables who then sat at the bar drinking a beer who we assumed was a worker. We brought our small very well behaved dog on a leash since it said dogs were welcome. The woman at the bar seemed very unhappy to be there and spent the whole time on her phone. The man at the bar drinking that we assume worked there snapped at me to tie our dog's leash to our table so he didn't "wander". (He wasn't.) The place was nearly empty. We drank our flights then left to go find food. Beer and cider was good but the environment was not the friendly welcoming place it was marketed as. And having no food was a surprise. I know it must suck to work on Father's Day, but expected a more welcoming crew for the Fathers and families who chose to spend their day at this establishment. Hope this was a blip and that you find food alternatives for all your open hours so food is available at all times, and that all your employees are more welcoming to the customers who venture here to support your business....
Read moreThis place is a great addition to Mountlake Terrace. The staff are tops always so friendly. Let's not forget about the beer. The beer is seriously good. And the price is extremely fair. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good cold beer. That they can take their entire family to. They even have Diamond Knot root beer on tap. I love this place and so will you. I promise. They also have game nights where you can go play board games and card games. (10/3/2023 update) my review is still the same. The only thing that changed is some yummy new beers. (12/6/2023 update) they keep beer interesting by coming up with different...
Read moreThe space is inviting and beers are excellent! They also always have a healthy cider selection as well, and all of their picks are top notch. They do have wifi if you need to get a little weekend work in while still enjoying yourself...with your dog, since they're allowed too! This is also one of the only breweries in the area I know of with a kid-friendly taproom, so you might have the occasional screaming child riding along on your experience, but that's not really an issue with Hemlock specifically. Overall, I've been impressed and excited to have another...
