I made a mistake and placed my carryout order at the wrong Domino's. After going to my closest Domino's they explain I ordered at the wrong store but I could cancel reorder and get a refund in 2-5 days back to the card I paid with. After calling the 5th Street location I explained my mistake and just asked to be refunded and id order at my other location (my car was being borrowed and I had no ride to 5th st but easily could walk to Penn St and pick up )When i called the store long story short i was 1 put. On hold by an employee going to the manager with my questions instead of being professional and getting on the phone himself directly. 2 I was informed I would not be able to get a refund to my card the best I could do would give me a store credit 3 the kicker that really sent me to complain I was told to just find a way there. I'm not gonna rant on how unprofessional and rude this comment was to make. I researched Domino's refund policy and basically got to the fact that that is not the policy Domino's policy says I could have easily gotten the refund back to my card in maximum 10 business days I understand it was inconvenient and it was a mistake that I made but as frequently as I was visiting dominos customer service could have Been better. I willl calll store tomorrow see if they stand by dominos belief that with customers complaints policy is 1.Apologize 2 Give the refund and 3 give extra. I checked my email around 6:20pm because we haven’t received our pizza and the email said our pizza was ready for pick up at 5:44pm. I called at 7:30pm to ask where our food was and that I order it online and selected delivery. I was told that it came through as carry out. After talking on the phone for a few minutes they ask me if I’d like it to be delivered, I stated yes and the woman told me there would be a delivery fee and I stated ok. We waited and waited for our pizza to be delivered, it is now 7pm and I still don’t have my pizza. I called again and asked to speak to the manager, I was on hold for 15 minutes until I spoke to the manager and at that time I was already a minute for the store. Walked in the store at 7:30pm and told the manager about the issue. The manager stated “we don’t deliver to that address. So we waited that long for me to have to find out when I got to the store that they wouldn’t deliver to my address which was 5 minutes away. I ended up still having to pay for my food. Read morei placed an order with a sales associate over the phone. I specified that I wanted 3 boxes of wings and told her I wanted to use the coupon. She couldnt hear me so I had to repeat the order and she still forgot the coupon. That wasn’t the issue, the issue happened when there was some confusion on price. The sales associate said it would be more than $25, I’ve made similar orders in the past and they weren’t as expensive. I asked why the price was so high and she told me it was due to delivery, I pointed out that even with delivery charge it wasn’t that much and she said she would double check. She came back and told me the chicken went up, I told her that didn’t make sense because the ad quoted $5.99 on the mix and match deal and she was telling me each box would be $6.99. After some time I finally saw the fine print stating the chicken would cost more and told her I still wanted my order and then the store associate hung up on me. When my friend called back the entire order was canceled. I’ve worked customer service for years and I understand that people get frustrated but it’s 100% unacceptable to hang up on a customer and cancel their order over a small misunderstanding.
