Steak City Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Muncie

I went to them when they first opened up. They're hamburgers were real meat and how you asked to be prepared with exactly how it was prepared. The burgers were huge the fries were plentiful. When you got your burger it had lettuce tomato onion pickle cheese and of course ketchup mustard and mayo. Today's order was a soy Patty, no mustard no mayo no ketchup, no pickle, no onion, barely any tomato. I asked the meat to be well done and it was less than medium.

If I wanted a soy Patty and lack of toppings and no cheese at that where it was supposed to have cheese, I would have gone to another restaurant, fast food whatever. I got to say this is the worst I've ever seen them do.

I ordered two of these and with each one should have came a soda but I only got one soda. So not only did I get ripped off on the quality the fact that it was supposed to have been actual beef with all these toppings it's supposed to be on the burger, but I got ripped off on the soda as well.

Then pawn looking at the soda I notice that the soda lid is extremely filthy. That's extremely unsanitary which is a serious health hazard, it could lead to food poisoning. The same thing for the nearly uncooked soy Patty. I'll let you guys know tomorrow if I ended up getting sick or not.

I cannot an honest good faith recommend this place to anybody. Maybe if they revert back to the way they once were then I could but as they are now if you want a soy Patty go elsewhere. If you want a soy Patty with barely any of the condiments that supposed to be on the burger definitely go elsewhere. Because what they're giving you is what everybody else is giving you but at least other places you get more.

They went from a five star to if I could I'd give him a negative 10 star. I do not believe I'll be going back to them ever again and again I was a customer of those since they opened up here in Muncie.

If I could post the pictures I would cuz I got pictures. It shows the Patty I tried to doctor it up with thousand Island dressing, but even then that didn't improve it none. The pictures would show that there's barely even any lettuce there's no pickles ketchup anything.

Zero curbside appeal. Trash, boarded windows, and dilapidated shops for neighbors. Once inside the cramped lobby, the ceiling is missing in places; there is an open 2ft ceiling vent, without a cover vent blowing onto customers AND the serving area!?!

Needless to say, cleaniness and hygiene are not a priority for this establishment; i.e. hygiene and dress of the employees, food/money handled by the same person, counters, floors, and walls all covered with a tinge grease along with the people who are touching things, while standing on top of each in the "lobby". Not sure if the Health Dept knows about the conditions of their operations?

Service was extremely rude, and they seemed bothered to be disturbed from doing something else? Maybe because English was a second language, or the cultural differences in communications?!?

Menu prices are misleading. They charge $4 dollars MORE per item than what was posted?!? Is that even legal? In addition, to the ALSO separate "cooking fee" !?! Who charges separately for cooking food???

They do have a small amount of grocery items on 3 counters, filled with what looked like old dusty food items. I expect this is a ploy, to justify the use of EBT foodstamps cards for fast food to go. This business exploits disadvantaged people at the expense of tax payers.

SAVE your money, your time, and yourself from this place!!! My recommendation is avoid this shockingly...

Best food for the price and awesome staff. My fiance and I wanted to try something new that we have not tried yet. The gyro was killer and the amount of chicken tenders you get for $7.50 is AMAZING. To top it all off, when I said that the staff were Awesome, I meant it. I work a Service Dog because of some physical disabilities. They handled it with the utmost respect and professionalism. It's not very often I go somewhere new with her because I have faced a lot of discrimination, fear, and down right nastiness towards me when it comes to having her with me. (Trust me, if I had a choice, I would leave her at home. I don't particularly enjoy the attention, both good and bad, when I just want to shop/eat/whatever in peace) I don't mind the occasional question or "Awe, she is gorgeous," but having to stop every five feet to answer a thousand questions over and over is exhausting. The staff here treated me no different than a regular customer. Of course asked a few questions, but didn't bombard me with questions. I can say with certainty that my fiance and I will be going back because of the portions and the customer service. They made it with every minute of the wait (10-20mins depending on what you order) well worth it knowing that I won't be shunned, discriminated against, and treated as equally important as...
