I am outraged by the 2 hour and 40 minute wait for my pizza delivery! Not to mention my lunch is 45 minutes long. Papa John's on wheeling you failed me! I did to call twice for a update because the app said said that it was in the “making” I ask them how longer and they said 20 I look on my timer and it already on the 25 minutes. And I told them that was part of my lunch and I was on my break. They ask me if I wanted to cancel my order, and I told them I don’t have nothing for my lunch. On Monday So I did call Papa John’s again (I think her name was Mercedes)and pretty much is what she told me was they was busy with door dash, so I told her that it wasn’t though DoorDash I went through the papa John app. and I told them I was on my lunch break and it was 45 minutes long and I waited for 2 hour and 40 minutes for my order. And my next one should be free , and the best that they can do was 10% off of my next order. And all I said was 10%?! She said that’s all I can do, and I shouldn’t argue with her. So I handed the phone to mom and let her handle it. She said the best I can do is 10% off my next order and you shouldn’t argue with me. Mom said don’t worry she will not be ordering from you guys ever again. On Tuesday I did call papa John’s back and asked for the GM and they are not there until Wednesday evening. And when i called the 1st time they said he will in at 5:30. On Tuesday when I called... Papa johns can't even get there GM figure out 😒 now pushing me back until Thursday.I found a general manager for that Papa John's, but when I called during my lunch break, I was told that she doesn't work there and the next person doesn't come in until Thursday ( Originally got told Wednesday evening) so last night (Wednesday evening)I contacted the main office of Papa John's, (and that was a robo thing) and then submitted a feedback form; now all that's left is to wait for their response. Read moreTried to call in an order but I was put immediately on hold. The first time I accepted it fine, assumed they were busy, but after six minutes I grew wary. I hung up and tried to call back to inquire how busy they were and what sort of wait I might expect, but the person who answered the phone put me right back on hold in the middle of me asking a question. As such I hung up, waited one minute, then called back again. I purposely said nothing this time when they picked up, just to see if they even waited for a reply at all when they asked 'Can I put you on hold?' They didn't. I didn't say a word, and they stuck me on hold. I left the call on speaker and started driving there, thinking to just set an order along the way, but I was on hold for ten minutes when they picked up, thus almost there. I went ahead and tried to order something for pickup, but they said it would take half an hour. Even ignoring the first call, that's over 40 minutes for PICK UP.
I would have just tossed this whole thing aside as an annoyance and moved on, but when I simply said 'never mind, then' the worker hung up on me without a word. I'm not sure what the norm is, if people expect this sort of wait here, but no matter if you think the pizza is 'worth the wait' I suggest passing along that the staff shouldn't toss customers on hold or hang up on them, no matter how...
