Wings Etc. — Restaurant in Muncie

Horrible horrible horrible!!! We went 03/03/19. My boyfriend and I went in and I reserved a table (no need to, there was NO wait but they told us there was a "list") 2 people walked in after us and got seated right away!! When we finally got seated we put in our order for a pitcher of beer while we waited for our other guests to arrive. When they arrived shortly after our waitress, Kennedy, left our table after I told her our other guests are behind her they had to wait to put in their drink order. Finally she came back and got their order of drinks. 15 minutes went by before she came back with their pepsi's and asked us if we wanted an appetizer to start I asked for some fried green tomatoes and she left, not even taking my friends appetizer order and came back to tell me that they were out of fried green tomatoes and asked if I wanted anything else so we put in for jalapeno poppers and QUICKLY asked my friends if they wanted something before she ran off again. After we got our appetizers we waited another 25 to 30 mins before she came back to get our dinner order. I ordered the fish tacos and my boyfriend ordered the fish sandwich (we are from Florida so we love fish!) And my friends ordered wings and a pulled pork sandwich. An hour went by before we were checked up on to see if we were doing okay or needed refills (which we did). FINALLY the food came out, all looked great till I looked at my boyfriends sandwich and seen the mahi mahi was over cooked and nothing was on the sandwich other than lettuce and tomatoes (he asked for mayo to be put on it) and my mahi on my tacos was BURNED!! I couldn't eat it. The manager came by and asked how it was going, I sent my food back hoping itll be better, nope! I was sooooo wrong! It came back worse! At this point I was starving and I could barely even eat half of one because it was still burned to a crisp and when we said something again the manager replied "well we are a wing place" I'm sorry but if you cant cook fish why have it on the menu???!! Plus my friends pulled pork sandwich was burned too! (How can you mess that up?). Now, onto our waitress, she was a ninja! Couldn't ask her for anything because she was too quick to catch to ask for anything extra! She came to our table maybe 3 times in the 2 hours we were there! The manager only comped us 10% on the $9.99 tacos that was horrid and I only had 1 bite of! We will not be coming here again! We gave our $4 off coupon to someone behind us! This place will never replace...

Decided to give it a try tonight at the Muncie location. Honestly my first and last time. We were sat in the bar and there was more than 1 thing that made me give a 1 star review. It took our waiter who was also the bartender a long time to greet us. Now I get he was doing both serving and bartending but as I looked over at him a few times I seen him showing off in the bar for an attractive female . He was pouring shots in his mixer with one hand just laughing thinking it was cool. Then when he shook the drink he was doing it extremely loud and aggressively like he was being cool. Then he spent a good time talking to her so it took him a while to get to us. After he finally came to take our drink orders it took a really long time to get them. The sweet tea sucked. Wasnt sweet enough. Then when we ordered our food he told me the rib and wing combo had 10 wings in it so I went ahead and got it. When the food arrived the fried sucked, they were cold and tasted old, the ribs were decent ,but the wings were hardly sauced and there was only 6 wings. You would think they knew how many wings came in their orders. Also he didnt offer any dipping sauce or wet naps or anything so I'm not sure if that's the store or just him forgetting. Either way it sucked. Really the only good thing was the ribs and the server did call us by "Mr and Mrs" which made me think he was friendly. I just think he should have focused more on the guest rather than show boating. Plus the food could either use a little improvement or better...

We tried this location a few different times and it hasn’t been a pleasant experience yet. The first two times the service was very pour. I got the vibe that if you weren’t a large group, where they (the sever) thought they might get a large tip due to gratuity being added to the receipt automatically or seated at the bar that they didn’t want you there. The third trip we decided to sit in the bar area to see if the experience was better and it was actually worse. They seemed understaffed as related to waiter/waitresses although there were clearly people walking around who appeared to be doing nothing. We had a large group come in at the same time as us and the waitress was kind enough to take my wife’s and my order first so we wouldn’t have as long of a wait which was very thoughtful. Our waitress herself was great! Very kind and sincere (when she was around). This time the food was the issue! My wife got the buffalo Mac&cheese (which is Amazing by the way) and I got the jalapeño burger that I specifically asked for no tomato lettuce or mayonnaise. When it arrived it had all three present and enough mayonnaise for three burgers! I Hate mayo and I was very clear about that! The waitress did apologize and tried to make it right by replacing it but at that time with the poor service (as in waiting to give our order and the length it took to get our food) I was Done. My wife and I shared her Mac & Cheese left the waitress a nice note and tip complimented her on her attitude and willingness to fix the problem...
