A ate here once again. Another spectacular meal. Bought 4 piece chicken fingers!, fries, Texas toast and Cole slaw. Came here with my Granddaughter Alaina. She liked it to. Atmosphere very festive. Good time to visit any restaurant is about 2:30-4pm. The level of busy is a bit less. My family had me buy them the 25 piece tailgate chicken fingers which comes with sauce and a jug of tea or lemonade. Lemonade was sweet s good change from the pop. Bought extra fries, Texas toast and Cole slaw. Chicken fingers were yummy as ever Texas toast yes yummy. Cole slaw was great. Very flavorful. Ok only complaint out of the 8 of us who ate all this massive amt of food was the same as I heard others say. The fries need to be crisper. Truth. No one likes a soggy fries. I keep trying to see if they get better. If not I'll order Ala carte. New pics of the yummy food. Ps they do have other sauce besides the raising canes sauce.
This eating experience was pretty awesome. I got a 3 piece chicken fingers, crinkle fries, Texas toast (garlic toast) and their special raising canes sauce. I'm pretty sure that's the only sauce they have. I know it's a 5 star rating but I'd give it a 9/10. Food was really good, something new for Muncie. The atmosphere was really up beat. Decor was original and really neat to this little ol 54 yr old foodie. Staff was friendly. Of course being new everything was clean and cleaned quickly. Only point off would be not alot of variety for a restaurant. It's chicken fingers, chicken sandwich, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast and raising caines sauce and pop, Coke products. I will be back is a understatement. You rock...
Read moreI am not very impressed with this establishment....the service was great, the restaurant has a very clean and modern look, and they definitely aren't short on restrooms! I wasn't impressed with the chicken, sure it's tender, however, the breading is tasteless, no seasoning, or it's very little! The french fries, very skimpy and they went cold rather quickly! I did like the coleslaw, it was pretty good, the bread was excellent, the lemonade was perfect, but this place has limitations, on sauces, it's ok to have a signature sauce, but it's the same as Chick Filet, which I am definitely not a fan of, but the limited sauce, sure they have honey mustard, but no ranch or barbecue sauce, most people dip chicken in those sauces.
The menu is very limited, nothing much to choose from, the children's meal doesn't differ much from what adults get, and there's no variety, and with places like Chick Filet or Zaxby's, you get variety, or at least a little bit more than Cane's offers. There's at least a chicken strip sandwich, but that's the only thing that differs on the menu.
My final thought, it's over priced and it's more of a pricey money gimmick vs quality food.
I definitely won't be back, at least not any time soon, I have had better chicken...
Read moreThis was the first time eating at this chain. It is an interesting concept, they sell one main dush and that is it. They sell breaded white meat chicken fingers. They sell it as a 3 piece combo which includes their special sauce for dipping the fingers into, crinkle fries or coleslaw, a slice of texas toast and a drink. They sell this in a 4 finger combo and a sandwich. The sandwich they put 3 fingers on it and you do not get the toast. For drinks they have coke products and a special leminade and their own teas. The chicken fingers are cooked to perfection. Crspy on the outside but tender and not dry on the inside. The fries had great flavor. They were not soggy at all. The texas toast was also toasted just right. It had just the right amount of flavor and toasting. The special lemonade was ok but really weak for my liking. Proce wise it was not awful compared to other fast food. If you get the chance to try it I recommend it and we...
