AVOID THIS CHIPOTLE! They don’t give enough portions. There is a new employees who has some new trainings where they are only allowed to give you 2oz of each ingredient. My server was adding thing so much less than before so I had to ask her to add extra portions to my bowl. Then she tells me that it will cost me extra for this. WHAT IS THIS CHIPOTLE? For a $10 bowl you are going to charge extra for a spoon fill of extra corn? How much greedy you all have yo be to do this? I requested to speak with manager, and she also took the side of this new employee. She has no experience in how to take good care of customers and business. Chipotle is turning into SubWay strategy where if you ask for few extra Jalapeños they will charge you extra. Look what happened to Subway. They are almost not doing so well. And some new CEO comes with new training of 2oz each ingredient and extra charge for few extra PCS of food is just wrong. Take a look at many CEO mistakes such as JCP, KMart and many others. Change your harsh rules and stop charging extra for anything ingredients.
Also look at the unhealthy OIL filled Chips. Yuck! I couldn’t eat them and had to threw it out. Guess what, I won’t be eating Chipotle for a while now and definitely NOT from this SMALL THINKING and NO personality place. I hope corporate will be reading my review. Because like this you will loose customers and I hope everyone knows about this. Hell may he I will open new chain exactly like this but do even better then guys. And see what happens to your stock price. Just sad to see such managers, stupid rules that don’t serve customers....
Read moreThe food at this location is terrible. I almost never leave reviews for chain restaurants, but I felt the need to warn others. I've eaten at Chipotle's all across Chicagoland because I drive a lot for my job and have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and despite what people say on the internet I've never had issues with portions. I got a chicken burrito at this location and it was an absolute abomination, and somehow smelled like cheap Chinese food. Although I wish I had gone to a cheap Chinese restaurant because it would have been infinitely better than this poor excuse for a burrito. The tomatoes from the pico were mushy, the rice was not seasoned at all, the sour cream tasted off, and the chicken was completely tasteless and also somehow had the consistency of a slow cooked pot roast. I gave up on it after 4-5 bites and threw it in the garbage. One of the main tenants of a chain restaurant is a surgical level of consistency across all locations and when that fails it's a huge letdown. I honestly didn't know it was physically possible to combine rice, beans, chicken, sour cream, and queso in a tortilla and have it taste anything less than GOOD. The employees at this location somehow pulled it off though. Clearly management is lacking and processes are not being followed correctly. This location definitely needs to be put under review by corporate. My heart goes out to all the gym goers at the LA fitness across the parking lot that would like to have a beautiful burrito bowl after their workouts but can't because this location is serving up nothing...
Read moreThe worst experience I ever had at a Chipotle!! I bought a chicken burrito bowl and I got a bowl with 80 percent rice when I asked for little rice. The chicken was cold. I drove two miles back to show the manager how terrible it was made. She refused to look at it and flat out told me she can't help me. I asked for her bosses name and she just kept telling me she's the only one I could talk to and she also refused to give me her first name so i could tell the corporate office who i was speaking with. She was extremely rude to me. I brought back a completely full bowl with receipt in hand and she said it doesn't matter. I've never been treated this bad at any restaurant ever!! This is the worst Chipotle around ! All the other ones we go to are really good. Right after this happened I went to Panera bread next door and bought a ceaser salad, sat in the parking lot and called the number on Chipotles website and filed a complaint. It took a little bit of time but the lady on the phone was nice and after I emailed my receipt she sent me a link with a barcode for a free burrito bowl. Hopefully this can be used at the Vernon Hills, IL restaurant because I refuse to never go back to the Mundelein restaurant and deal with this manager who worked on Saturday 08/24/2024 at 3:35 pm.
