Panera Bread — Restaurant in Mundelein

The last three time I have ordered from this Panera they have messed up my order every single time.

The first time, last Sunday, I ordered a Steak Bacon and Egg sandwich on everything bread. They forgot the cheese and the eggs. The sandwich is literally a Steak, Bacon and Egg, sandwich, how do you forget literally one of the main components of this sandwich?

The second time I ordered, today, I ordered the same thing, again, but this time they forgot the eggs, again.

The third time I ordered, also today, I ordered a Cinnamon Crunch Bagel, and apparently my order didn't go through because I waited a solid 15 minutes at my table after ordering and my food didn't arrive. It only arrived after I told one of the kitchen staff that I ordered, which defeats the whole purpose of setting up kiosks to order then just sit down so I can immediately get to work.

If they had messed up just once, I wouldn't be writing this review, but the fact that they messed up three times in a row, says something about how poorly trained the...

Out in the area for work and Panera is right across the street. Already ate lunch but wanted a afternoon snack. Mango smoothie no yougurt and a warm chocolate chip cookie. Sadly they didn’t have any on the hot plate. Kid was like we’re out. Ugh, but I wanted a afternoon snack and a smoothie wasn’t going to just cut it. So out the side of my eye I see the manager standing there with a smile on his face. I’m a manager myself so I wondering if he’s going to do his manager thing. I go wait for the smoothie and take the cold cookie. As I walked away I hear the kid explain what I wanted. Next thing I know he did the manager duty. Told me wait a minute and the cookie will be right out! Yea, that made me so happy. Feel good to enjoy a warm cookie and smoothie at work. Takes my mind off of this hour and half drive I’m dreading @ 6😟 ...

I love this Panera location. Everyone knows Panera’s bagels, sandwiches, soups, bread bowls, and coffee are incredible; it’s a chain, so I won’t go into that here. This location in particular is fantastic. I walked in today and both employees greeted me with a smile and a good morning. Walter my cashier told me how the rewards program worked because I looked confused and didn’t want to seem ignorant, but he picked up on that and let me now how it works! He gave me a coffee because I had to wait a few minutes for my bagels at the rapid pick up even though I told him I was 10 minutes early and it’s fine. There are three paneras (Libertyville, Vernon hills, Mundelein) that are equidistant from my work but I will definitely come to Mundelein every time because of the service....
