As someone who cherished childhood memories at the local Rally's, I was delighted to discover that a new branch had recently opened in Homestead, Pennsylvania. Excited to relive those nostalgic moments, I decided to visit on their opening day. However, my experience was bittersweet, and I feel it is important to share the details.
To my disappointment, the restaurant was severely understaffed on its inaugural day. With very few employees present, the full potential of the establishment was not realized, as certain areas, like the drive-thru, were not accessible. This lack of proper staffing hindered the overall efficiency and convenience, leaving a significant dent in what could have been a more enjoyable experience.
On a more positive note, Rally's did not falter when it came to serving their signature fare. The food, undoubtedly, met the standards that I had grown to love during my childhood. The classic Rally's taste was there, and it brought back fond memories. It was reassuring to witness their ability to deliver on the quality front, despite the hiccups in other aspects of the visit.
While my disappointment with the service and limited availability persists, I am willing to give Rally's in Homestead another chance. I remain hopeful that, with time, they will overcome the initial challenges and transition into providing a fully satisfying and enjoyable dining experience for their customers. The return of Rally's is a testament to their enduring popularity, and it is my sincere wish that they seize this opportunity to thrive once again.
In conclusion, Rally's in Homestead, Pennsylvania has made a promising comeback, delighting customers with their familiar and delicious food. However, the opening day experience was marred by understaffing and limited functionality, dampening the overall enjoyment. I am optimistic that Rally's will learn from this initial setback and work towards providing a consistently exceptional dining experience that matches their renowned flavors.
I am grateful to see the return of Rally's and am eagerly looking forward to witnessing their growth and progress, ensuring that future visits result in a fully...
Read moreThis is a brand new location that still has some growing pains to get over.Pack your patience in the peak times, and you must give a little pass to this family owned franchise location. As a first-time visitor, the drive thru/ and app order pick lanes slightly were confusing. Our order at the drive thru was taken promptly, but seemed that at the peak time we arrived (Saturday evening at 6pm) and with three options for ordering, ( drive thru, app ordering, and walk up window) the kitchen was overwhelmed and the orders backed up quickly. I paid and then told to "pull up. ".. pull up to where ?, since this location has a somewhat cramped parking area , and no designated parking for drive thru waiting as other similar businesses. I was then tol by a frustrated worker to pull up "somewhere and park." It wasn't very long, 10 minutes at most, before we watched our order delivered to two other vehicles before arriving to us. We ate where we were parked due to the lot in a mini traffic jam. While eating a knock at the window with another vehicles order, trying to be delivered to us. Overall, the food was good and fresh. We will be back after this businesses growing pains...
Read moreIt’s the first time that we’ve been at this particular location where they DIDN’T have staff arguing, cussing at each other and disregarding customers (where especially the Jamaican men were openly intimidating the young female staff to the degree that I almost called the police on their behalf) —I left without bothering to order 3x because of this.
Sadly, today they still seemed to be having a bad day. Order came out half an hour after ordering it as if they’d forgotten it was ordered. Then it was wrong (and it wasn’t even a big order). They had to be told what the drink was that was ordered and told the number of the order several times. Others received their orders before us and had come afterward. They looked like they were irritated and couldn’t be bothered, so we didn’t bother to go back to try and get our order corrected once discovered when we got home. This location is definitely inferior to Penn Hills when it comes to service and food quality. I hoped for better because of the convenience of the location. I’m holding out hope that this will improve...
