My wife and I just had lunch there again today at 11am at the South Church location. Management is always professional and friendly at that location, but the hostess(es) and wait staff are not as professional and/or friendly; they don't usually deserve a tip but I give one anyway. I can't even pay for them to act like or to be professional and friendly while dining there. They appear to go out of their way to not acknowledge me or welcome me or make me feel welcome in the restaurant while I'm there, especially the young lady who was the hostess when we came in; the manager had to help us, but then the hostess took us to our seat and didn't say anything; she just walked off. The waiters/waitresses focus in on my wife who is always with me, and totally disregard me as a customer, even when I'm giving them my order they look at my wife as if she's the one giving them the order!!! The men who work there always stare at and smile at my wife, which creeps her out and makes her feel very uncomfortable!!! I don't know if it's their culture to not acknowledge the man and only gawk at and/or speak to the woman, but this is the U.S.A. The staff from 3 to 10 years ago was the best (Jorge and Ezekiel were our favorites). I'll just stop eating there if that's how they're going to treat a guest who's been eating there for over a decade. I'm not there eyeballing the ladies, or flirting with them. I'm courteous, and I expect the same as a guest...nothing more, nothing less. Otherwise, you're just being outright rude and racist toward white middle-aged bearded men...which seems to be what the younger adult generation is all about these days. It doesn't hurt for your staff to smile and at least try to be friendly and courteous. I put this all on management for not properly training and/or enforcing great customer service. Read moreWe have been going to your location a ton in the last two years. We always had fantastic service and food. Your server Yuri has really disappointed us three different times. She has a real struggle with English, she doesn’t know your menu, and she just can’t move like she needs to to keep up with her tables. Our first bad experience with her was maybe three months ago. She let our drinks run empty and we sat and waited for our food for over 45 minutes while we watched everyone around us get theirs. She must of been brand new and we tipped her over 20% percent because that’s what we do. We just thought she needed some time. Our 2nd and 3rd bad experience was all sorts of messed up. Both visits she put lemons on my tea even though I specifically said no lemon, my stepdaughter had sweet tea and I didn’t. I ended up with lemons and sweet tea. Our food was entered correctly but it came out separately. My husband was done was his quesadilla before I even received my fajitas. Meanwhile while we still wait for food my step daughter went to the other servers for a drink while we just sat with empty drinks. I am a former server and these details are important. She cannot handle multiple tables and really needs some coaching to learn how to serve. We won’t be back to your location. When I told the lady at the register this one of the others male servers replied with a very snide remark- “there’s plenty of other restaurants “.. so count on us to always to our family elsewhere...
Read moreI would rate this zero if I could. This is 3rd time & last time I will go here (& used to be our favorite place...has gone downhill would be an understatement!) First two times, order wrong, food poor. This time on October 28th I walked in to order to go. Only needed 5 crunchy tacos & a cheese dip. Normally takes maybe 10 mins. The girl who took my order(she's newer too..prob been there 6mnths I'd say at most) she never smiles, seems like she doesn't want to be there period) she clearly takes my order, runs card & then I guess just completely forgets I have a to go order. I'm in there w/ my 3month old baby just patiently waiting..& 30 mins gos by. (They was busy, but no excuse) finally a diff girl ask, after I'm only one left waiting, did u have a to go order? I said yes about 35 mins ago. & the girl who took my order acts like she doesn't even remember me just ordering with her! Come to find out, our food had been just sitting next to register for who knows how long, cause she was just too lazy to check the to go orders & see if 1 was mine. By time I get food home, its awful & mushy. This is 3rd time its been terrible there. Never again will I spend $1 in that place. & its sad cause it used to be best...
