I ordered the Margarita Grilled Chicken, my husband got a 6oz steak, loaded mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. We ordered cheesestix for the appetizer and got chips and salsa. It started going wrong with the cheese sticks, no one told us they were the size of the palm of my hand or we'd only got an order of 3. The waitress didn't advise us, nor ask if we only wanted 3. Imagine my shock when I ate 1 and had to cut it 6 times to eat it. Between my husband and I we ate 2. The salsa smelled like arm pit, I've had a lot of different salsa in my life, I can't recall any of it smelling like arm pit. My chicken came out fileted in 3 peices, each peice surrounded by blackbeans with some rice and cilantro in the middle. I ate 1 chicken filet, the blackbeans were like glue and the rice was under cooked, if at all. His steak was cooked correctly, yet cold or room temperature. The mashed potatoes were piled in 3 heaping spoonfuls with no cheese or bacon and cold. His broccoli was raw, completely uncooked. Just put on his plate. I didn't bother telling the manager because he walked right by us and could see the displeasure on my face and I know he could hear me when I told my husband I wouldn't feed that garbage to my dog, much less eat it myself. We paid, I tried to leave a review on their table top thing, but it cut me off. So I'm leaving it here. We will NEVER, NEVER go back. It was $67.00. We could have went to Longhorn Steakhouse for that. And they dared put a 18% tip on the bill which i changed. It's unfortunate, I used to really like Chili's. Normally this could be forgotten because this was a large party but from the get go they knew we had to leave at a certain time yet it took 1 and a half hours to get our food from ordering. We know this wasn’t the waiter’s fault and we still left a tip but still after one and a half hours; a burger was wrong, an unordered meal was given before four of the other meals and parts of our food were cold. And to add insult to injury, our desert was given 30 minutes before our meal. When I called to check ahead they asked if I was part of the Model United Nations conference so they knew this was occurring yet they still made all of us late to our meeting. The only thing that was expected about this meal was that the food was actually very good that’s what earns it the single star. Also after waiting close to two hours, our waiter offered one patron a full refund on his incorrect meal, he refused and said he would take a discount instead but upon seeing the ticket, he was discounted nothing. To add to the unprofessionally nature of this visit, my diabetic friend was put in danger because he took insulin 15-20 minutes before when the meal was supposed to arrive as he was supposed to but given it took the food an entire hour after he thought to arrive which put him in severe danger. Read moreMy second visit and perhaps my last. The 1st trip the food, service, and ambiance was amazing. This visit we were seated immediately only to wait for our server for 10 minutes. When she finally showed up it became clear she was new. She insisted on getting drink order before taking the appetizer order because she did not want to forget. We could not place our order on the kiosk at the table because there was no battery in it. It was clear that she was overwhelmed she had 6 tables in her section I think we all got one visit each the entire time I was there. I don't blame her, I blame the restaurant for not giving her ample help. She clearly should have still been shadowing someone experienced. I tried a different dish this time also. I was less than impressed with it as well. Corn was saturated with a buttery topping. Chicken tenders shaken in buffalo sauce were very salty and chicken seemed to have been under a heat lamp for some time. When it was time to pay the kiosk still wasn't working despite the fact she brought a battery over it was still loading and resetting. She brought me a paper receipt with a QR code. She told me to just pay her and walked away... I scanned the QR Code on the receipt instead which I don't believe she knew that was a payment option.
