4 years later: Holy heck what's happened to this Dunkin?! We went through the drive thru for breakfadt 4/10 atound 9am, ordered food and 2 iced coffees with carmel swirl. Ended up with 1 carmel swirl and someone elses drink. Drove back and went inside. Returned dribk and they forgot about me for about 5min. The whole time im waiting I'm watching a whole cluster of other things happen. The manager Rebecca yelling annoyed at the young ladies about hurrying on the orders, getting irritated at a food delivery driver for verifying an order and then trying to help them fix some machine that a part popped off and may have gone into someone drink. I finally got Rebecca's attention and she asks me where my receipt was. Im like i refused one but i literally have been waiting for 10min now and i had the other drink with thw number. She cuts me off and asks what i want....i want me drink 3 other people including the ORIGINAL cashier i spoke with all clustered around in a swarm of chaos. Finally the drive thru girl remembered my order, Rebecca then gets annoyed and says just make her another one. I left because i couldn't wait any longer..15min is already an already long time. This store needs retraining. Its not the girls fault if theyve been poorly trained and they have a manager yelling at them. There was even an employee that was off, in her civilian clothing, who decided to help repack the food delivery drivers order and she got her own order. She even made a comment when they explaimed about the machine. If it qas "on the frtiz again" This seems to be the trend in service industries currently. Poor management, poor training because you need bodies to fill the need. After we left i my partner told me she watched 5 cars go from the drive thru and park to go in the store. Corporate needs to do better and check in on its people. Also the hashbrowns were stale and soppy with grease. Never had them like that before. **If you every have the pleasure of being served by LaNoriss, you WILL have a great day. From his energetic and cheerful greeting over the speaker to his genuine infectious smile when you go to the pick up window, those are the little things that make a trip to the DD an experience. You have an amazing employee here, don't lose him...if you can help it! The drinks are made well, sometimes it's a hit or miss depending on who's making them. A little too much Carmel swirl or not enough, but I've never had a bad experience here. Will...
Read moreThis place is awful! Employees are rude and could not care less. Most recent visit will most certainly be my last. Attempted to order a bismark donut and unsweet iced tea. Drive thru employee asked me "what type of donut" as if he was confused. I repeated myself. After almost a minute of silence, he replied with "I don't know what that is. Can you describe it?". I was a bit confused myself because I have ordered this same donut at other DD locations without any issues. Bismark is a classic. It's not seasonal. And is listed on their nutritional information. A lady with a very apparent attitude took over and asked me to describe it again. I told her it was chocolate covered with white frosting in the middle and a dollop on top. She replied "vanilla creme". I told her I had never heard it called that nor have I ever had to order it by that name. She repeated "vanilla creme" and said "tomato, tomahto". OKAY. I pulled around to the window where I sit for several minutes before a lady (I believe the same one I talked to) tried giving me an iced coffee. "Umm... I didn't order that. I asked for an unsweet iced tea." She closed the window without saying a word. A guy (the original order taker, I believe) came back with a picture chart. He told me they don't make the "vanilla creme" anymore and asked if there was a different donut I wanted. SERIOUSLY?! YOU LITERALLY ARGUED WITH ME OVER WHAT THE DAMN DONUT WAS CALLED WHEN THE WHOLE TIME YOU NEVER EVEN HAD IT? That was it. I was done. Between sitting in drive thru for 15 minutes, screwing up my drink order and literally wasting my time with major attitude to boot? No thanks. I requested a full refund, which clearly annoyed the rude lady. She literally threw my card and receipt at me. And again closed the window without saying anything. Never once did anyone apologize or say sorry for the messed up drink order or confusion over the donut. For the record, I went to a different DD location later that week with that exact order. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. No questions over what type of donut I...
Read moreThis location wouldn't honor the deal on a free classic donut with a drink.
I followed the directives of the app: ordered the "free" classic donut, picked the drink. Then I added a few other things to the cart. But the donut wasn't on my order when I checked out. I didn't notice until after I paid. I asked the cashier about it. She said I should have picked a donut then the donut would come off my order at the end. So since I no longer see the donut on my order, it seems to me that what she described should happen, happened. And I should still get a free donut. She turned it over to the manager. The manager wouldn't give me the donut either even though it was an app error and I had purchased the qualifying drink and then some.
They should watch the customer service video "Give Them the Pickle". They lost a customer bc they wouldn't step outside of a script to make a customer happy over 1 doughnut. They were actually going to make me buy ANOTHER drink just to get a free donut... for which I already paid and qualified for!!! Very poor company representation and customer service.
I want a refund of the money I paid for the coffee that was supposed to yield an accompanying donut. The virtual chat tried to give me points for the incident but that is only helpful if I go back. I don't want to go back. I also don't want to spend time trying to figure out if those points equal what I'm due.
I ended up going down the street to Donut Country and was willing to pay more for the donut I was supposed to get free from dunkin just because Donut Country is respectful and offer good customer service as well as tasty doughnuts. I can at least thank dunkin for pointing me towards a better place to get donuts. Without having been disappointed by this incident, I wouldn't have investigated Donut Country 3 blocks down the road. They also have a drive through and as I said, great service. I'll be going there...
