I love the food here, I loved my fellow co workers when I worked here. Upon being hired I was told in about 2 weeks, I'd be able to get more than 25 hours of work a week. I wasn't even working 15 hours a week for the whole 7 weeks I was there, even though I was told I would be working way more than that- part of the reason I had to quit and find something that would actually help support me. The entire time I was not allowed to do anything except make bags. Anytime I remotely tried to take an order or had a question for my manager, Mi, she interrupted me or treated me like I was an idiot. She is also very rude to customers if their orders are wrong and argues about just fixing them, even if it is the staff's fault. She comes to work in a bad mood and takes it out on her co-workers. It's kind of hard to enjoy your job with such an overbearing woman breathing down your neck waiting for you to mess up. I have had over 2 years worth of customer service experience and I was never even allowed on the register, I can't even learn the full extent of changing someone's order around if I'm not even allowed to touch the register. This has been the only job where I have felt so slow to actually catch on to exactly what SHE, not Koji itself, wanted out of me. I'm 20 years old, with past experience but on my 2nd day of working, 6 hours into actually working for Koji the manager told me she "thought you'd be doing better", like I've been here for 6 hours and no one had showed me a damn thing. This was truly the most boring and frustrating job I have ever had, I love to work and I'm a good worker and I love talking to and interacting with customers. But I def did not love the management or the fact I was never actually taught what they wanted me to know, yelled at for asking questions, and made to be an idiot in front of the customers and coworkers for not knowing every aspect of the menu in 2 days. So if you want a job, I do not recommend getting one here. I saw someone else quit right before me for the same exact reasons, the only people that are still there are the kids that have been working there before Mi came along and about 50% of them have or are going to put their notices in soon, thus their desperate attempts to gain employees by lying to them about hours. The expectations are very high for a place that doesn't care to actually train you, and only lets you unfold bags all day.
update I have been at a new job which I love, great bosses and very helpful friendly co workers, and on the 1st day of work I was on registers and making food! Actually getting the hours and higher pay, and I did great with the...
Read moreThis is amazingly great tasting food and a super reasonable price! We drive 55 minutes from the west side of Nashville to come and get it. Our MTSU college son introduced us to this place and it’s amazing! I usually get the steak but honestly it doesn’t matter the shrimp is also good. (It depends on my mood) But a very healthy sized portion and I usually eat more then the average person and it fills me up. It’s so good...so good I hate carrots but I will plow down these carrots like no other!! The yum yum sauce is the topper of all toppers👌🏼
For sure ONE OF MY TOP 5 PLACES TO EAT OF ALL TIME!!!
Don’t miss out on it. You will not be disappointed.
Also always fast and friendly service. We have been to both Murfreesboro locations and the staff is also nice and friendly , the food is the same great taste ever time, it’s clean and I leave thinking I want to own a location or for sure come back tonight for dinner. It’s all gluten free for all of you including my wife that absolutely loves it as well.
Update from December 17 2021… glad to be back. Still amazing and highly...
Read moreI used to go to this place all the time but not anymore. I had gone through the drive thru and once I got home I discovered my wife's meal was wrong. So I called and spoke with Todd and he said I put your name on a list and when you come back next time ask for a manager and we will comp you a meal for the mistake. So I had been back many times and had forgotten about this to be honest until today. I ordered as usual and did exactly what Todd had told me to do, I was made to feel like I was trying to get free food... and the manager on duty Billy let me know that they would not comp my meal only the exact meal that I had ordered before which they messed up. People matter and I would hope koji gets better people but myself and my family will not be back. I was there on opening week and was a big supporter of this local restaurant but the food and especially the service has been on the decline in the last few months and this is what will make me...
