I have been coming to this Boomerjack's for a few years, and it has always been such an amazing place with great drinks, food, and staff. However, the many times (I frequent this location two to five times a week if able) I have come here in the last few months have been.. well, quite horrible. The bartenders and waitresses that I've had for years seem like they have forgotten how to properly pour drinks, take food/drink orders, and how to simply be a decent person, for lack of better words. Many times I have had to wait for my waitress to come to the patio table in her section for 30 minutes-- just to order another drink. In one night, this happened three times with the same waitress, so I had my tab transferred to the bar and sat there. Still, it was like I had to wave a large bright flag for any of the bartenders to take notice of anything. No one was checking back to see if a drink is needed or anything. Another time, I had two different waitresses for the patio, the first one having had switched me over because I was apparently being an "unbearable customer." The first had been rude ever since I took a seat and rushed me through ordering, and never came back with anything. When I asked another waitress, I was told that I was now on someone else's area and needed to move to a different table, and not nicely at all. I understand the stresses of working at a bar and restaurant, and managing a business, I've been doing it for a bit. But something has to be done about the sudden lack of customer service. Read moreFIRST AND LAST TIME EATING HERE. We can begin with this being the worst service I have ever had. I have worked in all areas of the food industry fast food and restaurant including management so I understand the struggles. Yet this as I said is the worst service the lady may be a great sever but most definitely was given too much to juggle. If you have a 20 top party of people then you need two servers or the help from a manager (which didn’t happen). It was great that half of our party was tended to the whole night not so great about the other half. We had cold food, over fried foods, and 1 refill the whole night. I shouldn’t need to flag down my server or ask the hostess for help the entire night. When food was handed out there was ZERO organization or system in place we had several different workers shouting in an already loud dinning room calling out what they thought was on the tray yet some didn’t even know what they were handing out. For the quality of service 1 start quality of food 3 stars and that is pushing it. When I spoke with the manager I was told let me grab some coupons. I should of had a discount on my food or a genuine apology rather than walking away mid conversation. I don’t want coupons to come back to a restaurant with poor service and poor management. Also we as the customers should not need to gather our cups and trays when we are done to get them out of the way. Read moreWe used to go there all the time, but it went down hill and we quit going. I thought I would try again today. Big mistake! I ordered Soup and Salad. They both came out the same time. By the time I ate the salad the soup was cold and I had to ask to be re-heated. I asked if the Bill game would be on and the waitress said it would and it was for the start of my meal. Half way into my meal the game changed to another game that was on TWO other tv's. My waitress didn't come back for over 10 minutes and I was missing the game I went their to watch. The manager was talking to a group in front of the tv that was playing the Bills game and I guess just changed the game for their request without asking anyone if they minded. I would not have minded it he put the game I was watching on the the tv in front of me but he never asked. I had to go into the bar to pay my bill and watress had to go find my watress because she could not charge my card. l waited another 10 minutes to pay the bill. My dinner was finished, my drink was empty and I was pissed for missing 20 minutes of the game I went there to see. Never Again! I live in Murphy and will stay with the Back Yard.
