Mogio’s Gourmet Pizza — Restaurant in Murphy

I was a super regular customer until now (at least 3 times a week) since I have an autistic child and he loved one of their sandwiches. After having MULTIPLE issues with the customer service messing up the food at this place I left a review on google hoping someone would fix the issue. I received a call from the owner and he asked me to update the review and said he will make sure they will fix the issues. Fair enough. I updated the review which I should not have. This place is not worth this headache. After that EVERY SINGLE time I went back they made sure to make me super uncomfortable and mentioned my review (and not in a good manner). The owner had the audacity to ask me If I had updated the review to 5 stars as if I owed him anything in return of food I paid for. This does not stop here. If I call to order, this one guy would put me on hold and would never return to take the order. At one point the same guy told me in person that their “halal” meat is not reliable. I should have stopped going there since they started this headache and drama over a review rather than fixing their staff but oh the things you would do for extremely selective neurodiverse child. With all this childish response from this place over the course of months, I would NOT trust this place with my child’s food. They do not deserve a penny worth of business let alone “5 star review”. Ordered several more times from here. The King and Queen pizzas were fantastic. Perfectly cooked meats, thin crust had just the right amount of crunch to it. Fresh ingredients. Updated rating to 4.

I've ordered thrice from this place. I'm astonished that there is a stark difference with my experiences, which has forced me to leave a review.

Here's what I've ordered via Uber so far:

16" Buffalo NY Thin Crust: received hot, the ingredients were fresh, overall a quite succulent pizza. We really liked how the flavors combined into a mouth-watering piece of perfection on each bite.

Chocolate cheese cake - average, nothing to rave about.

16" Grecian Alredo Thin Crust: received hot, better than the Buffalo NY, so that's saying something, fresh ingredients again

16" Jack Daniels BBQ Thick Crust: This was the WORST pizza experience, the ingredients lacked the flavor, juices that we were accustomed to, and was instead dried out, a few pieces of raw chicken, the bread felt baked hours ago, and the pizza arrived cold (there was no delay in delivery); this makes me believe I was sent a pizza that was precooked, definitely not freshly baked.

Ive only left negative reviews 3 times in this town. Lets start with service, there is none, even if meant to be self serve, they don't even direct you to silver wear or sodas. They got like 5 people working there making food for I dunno who, while most of them stand around chatting. Little caesars has better customer service, and its take out. We said thank you otw out and were ignored. The food...The pizza and a stromboli were raw uncooked peppers and toppings with hardly any cheese and raw dough. The meatballs were the bagged type that you get frozen at the store. Ranch bottled not fresh. Marinara taste like jared spaghetti sauce. I'm certain id of enjoyed a frozen pizza more. The soup taste like it came out of the kroger deli section. Not awful not good. My gf ordered a caesar salad it was $6.00 and was a tiny bowl less spectacular than any bagged salad youd pull off a grocery shelf, just smaller. Which was surprising for 6$. I asked for ranch and marinara on the side didnt get it. I actually saw the menu and the venue and looked forward to my visit. Well prepared and enticing menu and atmosphere.
