The Burrito Shack — Restaurant in Murray

I’m giving a one star because the service was nice. The food itself it’s not good AT ALL, it’s not authentic either. The red rice was a whole grain of rice and what it seems to be seasoned with Goya packets, the black beans was a whole bean too, seem to be cooked for 15 minutes. The only reason why this place has so many good reviews is because it’s in a college town full with rich white college kids who know nothing about real burritos. Prices are not good either they charge you 12 dollars for a big burrito that isn’t even worth it. I rather go to Mi Pueblo and buy a big burrito for 6 dollars and it’s actually authentic and own by a Mexican. This place is just ripping off college students money cause he knows they’ll pay...

I ordered the veggie nachos, and it was okay. My little one had chicken nachos from the ninõs menu. It was the same size as mine. That's a plus if you have a big eater.

In my opinion, it's a little pricey at $11 for veggie nachos and a fountain drink. On the other hand, it is right next to Murray State, so that makes sense.

It was about 90 degrees outside that day, and I'm sure it was all of 80+ degrees inside. It's was just a lot of warm air blowing around. I'm not sure if it's like this all the time because it was our first time eating here. First impressions mean a lot, and I don't think I'll be returning.

Delectable flavors and friendly service. This buffet style restaurant has it all. You can choose from 10"-12" tortilla's; flour, tomato-basil, spinach, wheat & jalapeno-cheddar. You can fill that with veggies, egg, sausage, bacon and/or steak for breakfast; veggies, chicken, steak, groundbeef and pork for lunch. Try the same options on Tacos. My favorite add on is the grilled mushrooms and grilled peppers/onions.The Salsa Bar is something special that perfectly complements the Nacho chips.
