If cold, tiny, and overpriced is the food you're looking for, look no further than Miguel's Jr. Made the mistake of ordering Pop's burritos. Oh-my-god what a waste of $10.00! When they handed us our bags we were like, "what is this, why so light?" When we looked inside and saw that the burritos were about the size of frozen burritos we almost said give us our money back please. But, we figured we'd give them a shot, because what if their flavor was amazing, right? It wasn’t. First off, they were straight-up cold, almost like the burritos were prepared on a cold metal table, then handed to us. The pico de gallo wasn't even particularly fresh (certainly not $10.00 fresh!). And, the guacamole wasn't real; it was that fake, runny, pre-processed stuff you can buy at the store. Fail, fail, fail. Be sure not to order a Pop's burrito from this place- it's a ripoff plain and simple. If cold, tiny, and overpriced is the food you're looking for, look no further than Miguel's Jr.

All I have to say is wow! First time trying out Miguel's Jr. I just went through the drive thru and ordered the pick two plate combo. I tried the hard shell shredded chicken and hard shell shredded beef with rice and beans. Everything was so delicious. The hard shell tacos are not like the taco bell hard shell. I was really impressed. Tacos have enough meat, and the rice and beans portions were good too. There's rice under the tacos as seen in the picture. Prices are really fair. My total was under $11 dollars. The combo comes with a drink. I like that they use crushed ice. The employee was really nice. Very patient. Didn't wait Iong for the food. I definitely recommend giving it a try. I for sure will be returning.

We moved to RivCo from LA (lifelong Angelenos), so we are figuring out the best history and spots in our new home of RivCo. Loved reading about the Miguel's story. I am always in search of my next favorite burrito (You can imagine the access we had to GREAT old school Mexican food...Olvera St., Lincoln Heights, Boyle Heights, Highland Park, etc.). My search (almost 2 years) has been okay but leaving me missing Northeast LA - until today!! Wow. Just wow. (And sooooo reasonably priced....burritos were huge, see hand for reference).

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE IMMEASURABLE AMOUNT OF DISAPPOINTMENT I FELT AFTER EATING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. At this exact establishment the money you’re spending is either going to satisfy or deeply disappoint. A good example of this statement is the bean and cheese burrito. Coming in at around 3$ You will be tasting every cent of disappointment from the start to the cold bitter end. I mean this quite literally. When eating the bean and cheese burrito I would at least expect it to be about room temperature warm, but what I got was a stone-cold brick. I do not know how long that burrito was sitting there. But it was absolutely disgusting to bite into. On the other side of the spectrum are the more expensive items. Anything with the protein of carne asada will come to roughly 10$ just for the meat alone. This would be okay if you were given a bountiful amount of the meat you would pay for. This burrito was also stone cold. For 10$ i would at least like it to be room temperature warm at bare minimum. If you planned on spending that kind of money you’re better off going in and out across the street because at this location you’ll be spending the same amount of time in line for less quality than at in and out. I agree with all the other terrible and appalling reviews. The beans and rice look like dog food if I'm being completely honest. To anyone who is thinking about eating here, I would recommend that you stop and go anywhere else. As I was waiting there were two females that had terrible customer service. I was given an attitude by a taller bleach blonde who was interfering with the other co-workers' jobs. I was being helped by a very kind gentleman which made the experience way less harsh. However this bleach blonde had been distracting him every time I was in need of assistance. He was very kind hearted and apologetic for the long wait times and all the other inconveniences. There was another female that was shorter than the rest; she looked possibly like a latina. She had such an unbelievable mood that made her seem like she didn’t care. The female in question had acted as if standing in line for 30 minutes was okay. When I mentioned this to her the lady had been nothing short of disrespectful, raising her tone toward me when I had asked why the wait had been so long and she then gave me an attitude because she claimed that I was impatient. When someone waits for fast food they expect it “fast” this establishment claims to be fresh however the guacamole looks like it came out of a horror movie it's oddly colored seemingly bio luminescent i was disgusted and turned away. You’re more likely to find better and possibly fresh ingredients at a subway than here. Overall this establishment is by far the worse i have seen and personally believe that it should be taken down. The kind gentleman that was here working today deserves a raise and the prices of the food is completely wasteful. A handful of carne asada for 10$ is an outrage and highway robbery. If you order food with any meat expect little to none or for it to...

I love the potato and beef burritos at this restaurant so I look for different locations wherever I travel. This is my first time going to this particular location. I'm kind of a picky customer and I make all kinds of special request for my burrito. Usually it's never the way I want it but I still eat it because it tastes good regardless. But I'll tell you what whoever made my burrito went above and beyond the call of duty and it was the best burrito I've ever had any wherever. If I would have had the time I would have went back to tell them what a great job they did so I'm putting it here in the review. And if anybody working at that location reads this, I was that pain in the backside who wanted the cilantro onions tomatoes and cheese all in her burrito and I wanted it extra warmed up so that the cheese would melt oh yeah and I wanted the green salsa inside the burrito as well. Yes I was one of those people and I asked them to make sure it was all spread out so that it wouldn't be cold when I bit into it. I'm not kidding not only was it delicious it was huge. I've never been happier with a burrito. Just a heads up though if you order the regular serving of rice it is a very tiny portion. And they put sauce on it so make sure you're aware of that if you don't like...
