I had one of the worst customer service experiences at this restaurant. It started what seemed to be pleasant, appetizers were okay at best. My husband and I ordered our entrees. Before the waitress brought my meal to me, she knew it was wrong but brought it anyway. She then proceeded to ask if I’d take that entree instead (katsu box instead of katsu curry bowl), she said she’d go back and get the curry and put the side. I explained to her this was my first time and it’ll be nice if I could get what I ordered so I can have the experience, it’s not my fault the chef made the wrong order. She then pushed for me to take the meal because it is more expensive and has additional stuff, I replied that’s great but no thank you. I was asked again . By this time I’ve said “no” 3 times and she still persisted. She then says okay. She goes over to the chef, comes back and ask me AGAIN if I could would please have it. Now she’s forcing me to take it after I’ve said NO. I asked her what else is on the entree, she said there’s shrimp tempura. I let her know that I’m ALLERGIC to shrimp, I cannot do that. She then says she doesn’t THINK they touched. As a restaurant waitress, she would want to risk my allergies?? I said no I cannot go by what you THINK or not, I am allergic, I will not have it on my plate since they could’ve touched . She asked AGAIN, I said no. Then she went to “remake” it. I cannot believe they’d rather me RISK my allergy than to remake my meal after THEY messed it up. My curry bowl came back to me within seconds which mean they definitely used the same katsu and rice from the box combo that had the shrimp and but it in a bowl of curry. I would never recommend a place that would force me to take a meal I didn’t order and ALSO risk an allergic reaction. The food was mediocre. Crazy experience. If a restaurant would risk your safety and health to be CHEAP and not remake or be accountable for their mistake literally forcing you to comply and you’re paying for your food and you ordered exactly what you wanted , they...

Read moreI heard about Tenji Ramen from a friend, and their recommendation was absolutely spot on! I visited on a Saturday around 2:30 PM and had no trouble finding a seat. The restaurant is super clean, and the art on the walls adds a vibe to the overall ambiance.
I was excited to see the Gyu-Don (thin beef) bowl on the menu. The waitress was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She took my to-go order right away and even offered me water while I waited. Service was fast, and everything came out neatly packed and ready to go.
The food itself was flavorful. The beef bowl had great taste, though I think next time I’ll ask for a sauce on the side, maybe a little teriyaki, just for an extra punch. I also loved the little touch of including a mint with the meal. Small things like that I personally appreciate.
Their menu has so many tempting options, and I’ll be back to explore more. That beef bowl, that’s...
