VIP’S Cafe — Restaurant in Murrieta

Drove here from Los Alamos on the Sunday before Veterans Day. Parking wasn’t bad, but there is wheelchair accessible parking. The ones I saw and we had to park in was kind of far away. There might be more on another side. When we walked in, there’s a sheet for you to put your amount of people in your party, the time you arrived, and the name of your party leader. Our lovely waitress today was Summer. Amazing waitress, she made sure to give us refills on our drinks, especially coffee with 2 of our 6 party members! Haha. There was napkins, salt, ketchup, pepper, sugar packets, etc! Really what a good restaurant should be. The menus are nice. The only complaint I have is that where I was sitting, I could kind of feel the wall when I moved my body forward and slammed my back into the wall. It was obviously cushioned into the booth and keywords, “I slammed.” You can’t really notice it, and I’m just being nitpicky. Nice and a lot of room. They have to-go boxes. They also have TVs for your entertainment and possibly I think a bar. They have crepes and pancakes, hash-browns, bacon, coffee, but I don’t think they have Dr. pepper. Soda is not watered down. They provide your party with the correct amount of utensils wrapped neatly in a napkin. Those utensils are a butterknife, a spoon, and a fork. Came here 12:37 pm. We were also quickly seated. They seem to be fully-staffed and have a good amount of servers out at a time for such a small establishment. 5/5 stars,...

Lmao y'all this place sucks. I asked for French toast and my brother got a burrito and they both brought them back with hairs. We told the waiter if we could get a discount when she brought back the bill and she asked the manager and the manager yelled at her 'no no discount no' lol guarantee if you eat here you'll hear yelling in the kitchen and get hairs in your food. . I've eaten here so many times and it came out good but that was the restaurant in menifee. This time in murrietta , it was outrageous. I ordered a French toast as the usual and It comes back with a hair. She asked if I wanted another plate but they took forever to make the first one so I said it was fine. Next of all my brother ordered a bean and cheese burrito with a side of fries. They come back with a side of rice and hair in it. We told the waiter and she said she would tell the manager. They came back with another order of fries for my brother snd they thought it was fine. When they handed us the bill my cousin told her if we would have a discount for the hairs and she said let me ask my manager. She went to the manager and she was yelling st her 'No, no discount we gave them fries" she came back and said sorry we didn't care tho do as we paid we said we would write bad reviews so here we are. :) that's all just know if you eat there , there will be a hair...

I came here with one other person. We entered 11:57am and sat at a table until 12:52pm. I got very upset and asked if we were going to have to wait longer. I’d understand if it were 10-15 minutes but a whole hour!? To top it off, we told our waitress (darker skinned Hispanic woman) that we would probably leave because of how long it was taking ,and she just looked at us and said “ok…” instead of, “I’m so sorry for the long wait, we have so many orders, maybe I could get you something on the house in the mean time.” It was extremely rude and very unprofessional. We decided on the next spot right next to them. I won’t be coming back here. They need to have a system where their staff could be more effective, either that or hire more people to take care of the floor. We placed our order when we sat and didn’t expect to have to be punished for an hour while we sat hungry. I can’t explain how upset and let down I am, people say they love this place.
