Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! This restaurant does not respect its guests at all! I was there for a holiday lunch and was sat in the bar. Then I preceded to wait and wait and wait and wait. No one and when I mean no one not one staff member that passed acknowledged me or said I will get your waiter or anything…. Every staff member passed and said nothing. When you are at this restaurant you will not feel like family you will be treated like the enemy! I waited 20 minutes and decided that I was hungry and I was not going to suffer any longer. I went across the street to Atrias a competing restaurant and was immediately treated like gold! When I walked out and handed my menu that I shouldnt have after 20 minutes the 3 lazy hostesses never bothered to ask what’s wrong? If I was the owner I’d this restaurant I would have a huge problem with staff that just doesn’t care and wants to sit around and not work and most definitely not serve their guests. While I waited for a server I watched 3 different tables get drinks get checked on order food get food! I still sat! I made significant eye contact with about 8 waiters and waitresses who said nothing to me !!! It is really despicable that you have to beg to be waited on! I called the manager and the manager just made excuses and was dismissive of my experience! Perhaps the hostess is at fault but I saw numerous wait staff ignore me so perhaps it is the waitstaff. However the manager didn’t seem like he knew how horrible and bad his staff is making excuses and never saying he would address these issues. So that tells me in no uncertain terms this restaurant’s entire staff is the problem! I will never go back and I will tell anyone and everyone of my disgusting experience ! This entire staff should be fired or retrained! Restaurants number one priority should be the guest experience! Juniper Grille in Murrysville could care less! By the way I told the manager that I would be writing a review and again 0 care and 0 appropriate response ! Go...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I come here for dates every couple months. We love the food, the atmosphere, and the workers. I typically order the same thing every time (cesar salad and chicken tortilla soup) because I absolutely LOVE both. But not this time. We came on a random Tuesday and it was packed. No big deal. Food did take a while, but that is expected for how busy it was. My boyfriend's food was great and he had no complaints. But my salad had rock hard croutons that I couldn't even bite into, waxy slices of parmesan cheese, hardly any dressing, and the greens were very dry and stale tasting (although, it looked fine). I was disappointed but didn't mind since I had soup on the way. Well, that was a disappointment too. There was no meat in it at all. Maybe a little bit of crumbs, but literally no chunks of meat. There were TWO broken pieces of tortilla chips in it, that was it. I basically ate broth for dinner.. and it was not cheap!! The soup and salad together were $16, plus $45 for my boyfriends meal, plus tip. We spent $80 for me to not even eat anything. I have food allergies, so my options are limited for what I can order, or I may have ordered something else if there was time. But they were getting ready to close. We were there for maybe 1.5-2 hours because of how long it took to get our food. It took FOREVER to even get our order placed and to get our drinks. I don't blame the waitress or staff, I get it. But it is just disappointing that I barely got to eat what I ordered, and couldn't order something else. We make a point to come here for special occasions because we can't afford to eat there all the time. To us, it's a high-end, classy restaurant that we dress up for and look forward to. Hopefully the next experience isn't...
Read moreMake sure when you enter this establishment that you dress like someone wealthy otherwise they will give you the cold shoulder. Dined in tonight for dinner, I told the host I had 3 (My girlfriend, son, and myself) and they started whispering amongst themselves. There were multiple empty tables but rather than just simply seating us they took their sweet time doing so while they whispered amongst themselves. Was standing there like 3-5 minutes aimlessly while I waited for them to do their job. When they decided to finally seat us the host walks by me and rolls his eyes at me. Normally, that blatant disrespect would be enough to trigger a response out of me but he’s lucky I had my kid with me. Then, while we were seated we would look around at the waiters and waitresses at other tables when they were serving people of “higher class” in comparison to us. They were warm and welcoming to those people but when it came to they didn’t seem interested in serving us or having our presence in their restaurant. They were very cold to us. Despite all that, because I ain’t a completely heartless asshole I still tipped the waitress 25%. Little do these people know, I make way more money than these restaurant workers doing what I do for a living. Just because I like to dress like a normal human being and be comfortable doesn’t mean I’m poor or a peasant. Be careful judging a book by its cover because next time this happens, I might not be so generous with my money when leaving you a more than generous tip. There might be no tip next time this happens. Fix your employees piss poor attitudes towards people. I seen better service at...
