DJ's Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Muskegon

Went there on 7-5-2018 had a good time until one of their regulars by the name Bocephus, Bojangles or just Bo took my 26year old out of town cousin in the back to "show him his car stereo" after they had been playing pool together all night and pulled a pistol on him like a little coward that he is and robbed him at gunpoint. And instead of the bar staff and patrons calling 911 immediately after hearing the commotion and the gunshot they "had to check the cameras first" it was an inside job everyone knows the "Bo" guy that committed the aggervated armed robbery and I'm sure he still goes in there! Beware of this place at all cost if your from out of town and don't have a conceal carry permit. I'm in the process of getting mine now and should receive it by no later than the end of July due to this incident. This is no joke and its a trap for all tourist. Upon investigation this kind of thing has happened here before and there is even a video on youtube of a murder committed there. I do however look forward to a trip back there in the near future to see my ole buddy Bo Bojangles Bocephus...

Love this place when Lindsea is working, but y'all need to get it together on Friday nights because that bartender "Tuna" you have working there is a joke. Makes your business look horrible. I frequent your bar every Wednesday night so I know that I can get excellent customer service, but tonight I was shocked at the way she spoke to the customers, was rude and acted like she could have given a f#$% less if anyone was there. I have heard not to go on Thursdays and Fridays but wanted to give it a try and now I know why it's dead in there on the weekends. I will never return on any night but Wednesday. To the owners, get your s@#$ together please!!!

UPDATE: I went to DJs on Sunday night for the pool tournament and the atmosphere was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!! SHOUT OUT TO LINDSEA FOR THE AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE ONCE AGAIN. Muskegon native who has driven past the place a million times on Henry Street. Popped in on a Thursday afternoon to get a feel for the place before it filled up for the after work folks. This place has always had a lot of cars parked outside. The bartender says they remodeled the main area during covid and it looks clean and updated. Karaoke space has lots of room unlike some places that want ya to sing in a corner and provide clearance. The main area has one pool table with a king of the hill setup(challenge the winner) of rules next to it which I haven't seen at a lot of bars before. I love the idea of some grizzled pool master holding the table at will and taking on all newcomers. The "pool room" wasn't updated with the rest. While the furniture is dated (and some like it that way), It has two well loved pool tables that haven't been neglected maintenance wise. Overall DJs seems like a well loved bar for Muskegon locals lookin for a song and a game of pool. There's love for veterans...
