Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

So we have went to this one on and off for the past 10 years. And the last time we were there it was great. And we haven't been there in a while. We were up in that area over the weekend and we hadn't had Chili's in a while so we wanted to go. It was about 7:30 when we got there. They don't close till 10 or 11:00. The hostess was super sweet. She was so nice. We were seated. And waited and waited for a waiter and nothing. No one took our drink order yet. I didn't want to bug the hostess but I saw her up at the stand not with a customer so I went and told her that no one had waited on us yet. She seemed a bit surprised and said I'll go get someone. So she goes and gets the waiter. They finally come over take our drink order. Well we went ahead and ordered because we had sat there so long. We already knew what we wanted. We got an appetizer. A meal for me and my husband and a meal for my child. We wait. No drinks. No chips that you're supposed to get. Nothing. Our appetizer comes. We don't have drinks. We don't have silverware nor napkins. Finally in the middle or towards the end of our eating our appetizer the drinks come. I had to ask for napkins. You would think that they would bring it with the silverware. Nope. He just brought napkins. I was scared to drink our drink (which by the way was just regular soda. Wasn't from the bar or anything) too much because Lord knows when we would get a refill. So we hesitated on drinking a lot of our drink. Our food comes. And finally the silverware. We were going to have dessert but I figured it would take like an hour to get that order in so we decided to stop at McDonald's on the way home to get dessert. The bathrooms were disgusting. It doesn't look like they've been cleaned since the last time we were there a few years ago. The interior was filthy of the restaurant. No maintenance has been done to the place. My chicken crispers tasted like they just went from the freezer to the fryer. You only got a handful of french fries and that was your "side". Half of them were hard. let me start this review off by saying i myself work in the service industry and understand the hardships. today me and my family decided to enjoy some chillis, a common place we go. not expecting to be here over an hour along with terrible service. we started off sitting for almost 15 minutes waiting on our server to address us with just us and one other table in her section. as soon as she got there we were obviously ready to order but she apparently was not, we didn’t see her for quite some time after receiving our drinks. then she comes back takes the order and disappears again. we get the child’s plate we ordered for my nephew, then nachos for my sister ten minutes after. after another twenty minutes go by the other three plates arrive. right after the food arrives we noticed a trail of ants, an insane amount of ants. whatever pretty normal i guess but we wanted to move n couldn’t get our waitress attention AGAIN. then finally we moved and the manger came over to address the ants. we let her know that was the least of our worries at the moment and proceeded to tell her our experience with the waitress. she ignored our concerns with the waitress and blamed the food on the kitchen. she claimed she had a new staff in the back and they weren’t used to being busy. mind u we are one of the 8 tables in here…waitresses were sitting around the hostess was on her phone nothing about this place gave busy. we didn’t really care to ask for a refund or money off our bill, but after she brought the regular checks she brought discounted ones and rolled her eyes as she set them down. Was excited to come eat here with my family for dinner. We wanted to go somewhere nice. Got seated after 10 minutes. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks, didn't see our waiter for another 15 minutes. Needed refills by then. She gave us refills, and then left again. Comes back in 10 minutes after we had been waiting almost 30 minutes to place our order. Our waitress takes our order. About 5 minutes before getting our food, the manager comes to tell us they were out of the plates of food three of us ordered. First of all... WHY wait until everyone's food is done to come tell us that you don't have that certain food. That was annoying. So we waited a few more minutes, for our refills and our food. Our food was absolutely awful. None of us even finished our plates. By the time, we had finished our food. The other three finally got their food. Which was about 15-20 minutes later. And what's funny is.. The refills and food delivery wasn't even from our waitress. What was she doing? Just wondering. If it weren't for the manager giving us three free drinks and trying to make it better, we would probably would have got up and left. Never been so poorly treated. It was not worth it & I would NEVER recommend this restaurant. We had a $184.00 bill & it was ridiculous we spent that much to not even like the food at all and have poor service.
