China King — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

It took me a while to get back to review this place, but the last time I was here was on January 8th. I have been here a few times before, so I used the online ordering they have, and scheduled to pick up my food at 5:30 pm. At 4:17 pm, they called me, annoyed, saying that my order was ready. I was a little shocked but I told them I'd be on my way to get my food. I live about 25 minutes away, so it was going to take me some time to get there. At 4:45 pm, they called me again, when I was parked in the lot about to go in. Personally, I felt that this was not good especially since I had specified on my order that I would pick it up at 5:30 pm. I understand that placing my order early might have caused issues with timing, but if that's the case then they shouldn't offer that as an option on their ordering form. On to the food... I think that it was subpar. The steamed dumplings had little flavor, and they were kind of mushy. The Chicken and Broccoli was interesting, it seemed like there was not enough sauce which led to the flavor being really light. The boneless spare ribs were okay, but I have had better. My favorite part of my meal was the white rice that came with the chicken and broccoli. It's hard to mess up white rice. I recommend comparing the pictures from this place to my pictures from my review at Dragon Pan. They are definitely different, and after trying both, I prefer Dragon Pan despite it being farther away. Overall, I was pretty disappointed by this meal. I will likely not be returning, but I hope it gets...

I have been coming to this restaurant since March 2025 at least 3 times a week for dinner pick up. One of the reason is food is generally good compare to other Chinese restaurant. One thing I noticed was that they are not friendly at all..but who gives shit. It's just TO go Chinese restaurant. 2 weeks ago, ordered 4 different foods for pickup and they only put 3 in the bag by mistake, which it could happen. Called them missing food and they promised for credit. When I returned for another pick up and they didn't want to give a credit cause they don't remember...but didn't care..we're talking $15.00... who cares..really Went back there next day for a dinner pick up and forgot to bring a card, ended up paying with cash and shorted $0.13 cents. The guy at the cashier looked looked very uncomfortable because of $0.13 cents short .

Back to this restaurant a few days ago for dinner pick up...and he remembers $0.13 cents short and asked me

"Do you remember you owed me $0.13 cents"?

So I paid him back. $0.13...

Very poor service. Lady working at the front was very rude. I dont argue with people cooking my food. I just ignored her. However I ordered 70 bucks worth of trash can worthy food for my family. The food had no type of taste whatsoever. The cheese rangoon was partly fresh and partly old. You can tell some was made fresh. And the others where sitting around somewhere and just dipped back in the fryer for a few seconds. The fried chicken wings where not crispy and didn't have any seasoning on it. The spicy beef was gooey all the way through. Hard to believe its meat. Long story short it was three of us and all our food went in the trash can. Please save your money and go somewhere thats worthy. They not cooking good food. Just back there cooking food. Smh. First time customer and definitely...
