I wish I would have looked at the reviews before placing an order through the mobile app bc now I have been stuck in line for 15 min and can't get out since there is a car in front and behind me. They locked both of the doors for some reason so I can't even get in to pick up my carryout order. No signs on the doors or anything. I've watched at least 5 people walk up to the door, turn around and leave. 2 of the cars in front of me got out of line as soon as they pulled up enough to where they could and multiple people got out of line behind me. I have never saw anything like this. They really need to get it together. This location should be closed down if this is how they are going to run it or hire all new staff so it runs smoothly. I am going to be super late to my appointment now. I only came here since it's my daughter's 10th bday and she wanted to try a Wednesday meal. Once I got to the window I asked why the doors were closed and she paused then said "we had to shut it down". I ordered a 4ct of saucey buffalo chicken nuggs and received a 3ct reg nuggets. Then this pic is supposed to be a Jr Deluxe Cheeseburger, def doesn't have the lettuce and tomato that it's supposed to. Now I could get out, stand in the rain at the window to let them know my order is messed up since I can't go inside but I refuse to do that. There is also still a line of cars so I wouldn't be able to get to the window anyways. Never coming back & I would suggest to anyone else to go to a different location if possible. This happened 9/7 at 3pm.
Edit: We were sitting in the parking lot eating and I watched a couple girls walk up to the door to find it locked, then a guy came up behind them. The one girl went to the drive thru window then back to the door and someone let them in and shut and locked the door so when the guy tried to open it right behind them they had already shut & locked it that quick without even saying anything to him. I would be HEATED if I was him. I'm mad just...
Read moreOn three separate occasions in the recent past, I have waited an inordinately long time for my food at this location, despite placing small & simple orders at times when the restaurant was not particularly busy. I chose not to complain on any of those occasions, because I'm not inclined to make life difficult for others. Today, however, the associate running the drive-thru attempted to charge me $2.18 each for items which were listed on the menu at the drive-thru ordering station at $1.39 each. I knew immediately that $6.54 was too much for three $1.39 sandwiches, so I questioned the associate at the payment window about this. After staring at me blankly for a full minute, she called a senior employee, who proceeded to inform me that the sandwiches were priced higher than indicated on the menu sign, and basically indicated that I would have to pay the higher price despite the deceptive signage. This is nothing short of fraud & false advertising. If the management of this restaurant cannot be bothered to change the posted menu pricing or give their customers the items at the posted price, they are attempting to trick consumers into paying more than originally advertised. That's against the law, and speaks volumes about the integrity and professionalism of the management, the ownership, and the Wendy's corporation as a whole. I will be taking this complaint higher, as this location is a disgrace to the food service industry and the entire Myrtle Beach area. It is my sincerest hope that jobs are lost and, if at all possible, this entire location shut down permanently. I take very little pleasure in raising a stink over bad service, but this corrupt & deceitful restaurant and its criminal employees are an embarrassment to our community and must be held accountable for...
Read moreI do not frequent this location due to the distance from my apartment, however, I was in the area and decided to make a quick stop on the way home. I ordered online on the Wendyâs mobile app, and selected dine-in for the pick-up. We drove to the location and tried to enter through one of the doors, which had a sign saying the dining room was open. However, the door was locked. So, I went through the drive through and let them know that I ordered online and didnât realize the doors were locked. The drive through machine looked rough, I attached a picture of it because I was surprised. They notified me that the inside was open and that my food had been sitting there for a bit, so I should come in before it gets cold. So, I went inside. I got my food, but I was missing one item as well as my condiments for my baked potato. I had my boyfriend go up to the counter, but the person at the counter was on their phone and had to be told by someone else that there was someone at the counter. I donât know their name but they had a bit of a bad attitude. Someone else came in and said the door was locked, to my relief, it was not just me! The person at the counter went over to the door and pushed it open, and said âItâs open.â My boyfriend backed up the other person who said it was closed, but they seemed to not believe us for whatever reason. Overall, the food was good, as I would hope for a fast...
