I visited here on 4/17/21. I bought a Groupon which got me a deal on 2 unlimited wrist bands. I would definitely check Groupon if you’re thinking about wristbands. Additionally, you can skip the long line to purchase tickets and get in the link for pre-purchased tickets. There is an additional $3.25 charge for taxes that you have to pay at the location.
After getting wristband, you walk into an arcade with plenty of games. They have an area for food and to redeem tickets for prices. Outside is where they have the go karts, rock climbing, golf, and other attractions. My main reason for coming was to do the go karts. They clean the seats after each race. By clean, I mean spray it with some cleaner. They don’t actually wipe it down. They offer lockers for personal belongings as well.
For the races, they have 2 of the 4 lines of carts go at one time. While one race is going, they load up the second set. Then they switch out. It’s very effective and keeps the traffic on the tracks down versus having everyone out. I definitely liked the idea of this.
5- Speed Racer: I did this one first. It was okay. Karts went decent speed and it was on a decent sized track
6- High bank Oval: I didn’t really like this one. It was slow and inconsistent speed. During last lap, they slowed the car down and it was moving like a car running out of gas. Additionally, the track was small. I was first and I had completed a lap before the last person started. I wouldn’t do this one again.
7- Pro Track: This one had the longest line. I don’t remember how long I waited but it was definitely a solid hour! This is the biggest track and It’s supposed to be the fastest one too. They didn’t now spray the karts after each race, like they did at the other track. With this track, the line is too long to alternate between regular and the kiddie/double karts. They just need to send them all at once. This is how other go kart places does it. It’s ridiculous how long I had to wait. I did not and will not ever ride this one again, unless there is virtually no line. It was nice but just was not worth it an hour wait, in my opinion.
3-Speed Kart: This one had a wait similar to pro track but not quite as long tho. I liked this one. I think it’s similar to pro track.
2- Jr. Racer: This was was definitely geared for younger crowd. Line was fairly short, however. Decent speed and decent track size too.
Overall, I was here over 3 hours and only did 5 races... that’s sad. They need to switch up how they do things and allow more people to go during a race. It’ll definitely cut down on wait times. I’ve been to better places...
Read moreThe cashier lady was really nice and patient with us while we determined how many go-kart rides we wanted. Plenty of parking, arcade games and go-kart tracks for all ages. When you enter, there is a wall, where your child can stand against the wall and you can get their height, this will help you determine such tracks they can ride and or drive on. Then you proceed to the ticket line where you speak to cashier and tell them how many times you want to ride or drive go-karts. After posting for your tickets, you will walk through the arcade area and then walk outside to where the tracks are located, each track is numbered 1, 2, 3 and so on. My niece (4 years old) was able to drive for the first time in track 2. Her 2 older brothers (ages 7 and 11), my brother, his wife and I drove on track 3 or 4 all at the same time. The go karts on track 3 or 4 are for children and adults, so they are small and uncomfortable to ride/drive. We saw one father not able to fit/sit in the go-kart, so his wife wife had to drive along with their son. The father told us that that was the first time that his son drove go-kart; when time was up, you ate instructed to drive your go-kart to the boarding area, stop and park your go-kart, we saw that son drive into the back of another go-kart twice, and saw how the other boy responded (he definitely felt being good from behind but was nice about it and no confrontation). Also, when I was able to drive, a young boy made his way around the track and stayed behind me for the most part, when time was up and time to drive go-kart into the boarding area, I stopped and pulled to the left before driving in the boarding lanes, that boy that was behind me did not press the brakes and rammed into another little boy that was behind my brother and I heard someone behind me yell, hey! Please beware that there is no switch to stop these go karts like at Go Karts Plus in Williamsburg VA where I used to take my oldest daughter to ride/drive go-karts. As we were leaving, we saw an in door track from the arcade area. Those go-karts seem new, fast and really nice to drive. We took a photo outside after...
Read moreFun go kart park. Do your research on heights per ride. Prior reviews were saying there was confusion on heights and people mad about the costs. If you have kids between 40” and 48” they are going to have limited stuff they can do by themselves. As well as having kids over 48” but under 54”. An adult will need to ride the double carts for kids at 40” to 48” so plan on riding with them. The front desk staff were very helpful and I asked about height requirements per kid and what they could ride before I purchased. We visited in the off season at the end of September so we expected that the staff would be limited. We also expected that not everything would be open. They still did a good job of moving between each of the kids rides so that they could ride most of the kid rides for our younger kids. The price is a little more than I would have liked to pay but on par with similar amusement parks. We got our monies worth though. SAVING MONEY NOTE: they sell the unlimited wristbands for $3 less per person online. I ordered online from my phone and they were able to See them on their system immediately. Saved $18 on 6 bands. Arrived at 1pm and stayed until they closed around 7:30. Side note: the golf courses were decent. Not as extravagant as the other courses in myrtle beach but let’s be real, you are not coming to this park and paying a lot of money to play golf. You are coming to ride go karts for 6 hours. That being said we played a round to take a break from go karts and it was fun and in pretty good shape. I was hesitant to go based on price and other reviews. We planned well, did our research and stayed all day. All in all we got a good value from this park. Would go back if back on...
