There are no redeeming good qualities about this place. Went for someone’s birthday. Hear everyone talk about how good and authentic the food is. Probably from people that have never had actual authentic Mexican food. I grew up around this type of food. I had the chicken in the homemade cream sauce. This was quite disgusting. Tasted like they just chopped up some chicken and threw it in sour cream. All you could taste was sour cream. There was no other flavor what so ever. Couldn’t even taste the chicken. Couple of people in my party said it looked like puke. The rice was just ok. Had maybe two bites and couldn’t stomach anymore. Speaking of stomach, later that evening spent time on the toilette for that poor choice. Could have been the beans, salsa, and chips but I highly doubt that. A dish should looked appetizing. Everyone I was there with said the food looked like a pile of puke. Green chunks of something were in it. Don’t know what that was because they had no taste or flavor again. My wife had the Carne asada. The meat was tender enough but no seasoning or flavor what so ever. Just tasted like plain skirt steak. I can make that at home. We were at happy hour. My wife got the two for one margaritas. Couldn’t even really taste the the Tequila in them. For $12 a margarita that was a let down. Then came the check. The waiter said just scan this code on the check to pay. Not only did they ad 10% gratuity with out my permission or choice but if you don’t pay attention when paying the website ads another 10% on top of the other 10%. That’s very shady and poor business practice. You can’t force people to be kind and leave a tip. That’s just wrong. Never...

Updated! The family stopped in for a celebration and boy was it ever!! A HUGE shout out to Michelle in the bar!! Gurl....You are OUTSTANDING!!!! You made our visit so much more fun! Michelle has such a great personality, customer service was top notch! Give that woman a raise! Awesome customer service!!! We had another great party here, we reserved the room for 8:00, 2 people with a baby were hanging out, the staff shouldn't have seated them, knowing the room was reserved, but everyone did their best to accommodate. The best we have ever had!! We held a bridal shower here, it was so much fun!! The staff helped us decorate without even being asked. We had a couple of large gifts, they even went out to the cars and carried them in. They were so helpful with absolutely everything, no one was without a beverage whether it be adult or Pepsi. The food was great, very fresh and hot, always had salsa and chips, we never ran dry. It seemed like they anticipated everything. We never had to look for a staff member or anyone for that matter. They were exceptional, as far as customer service. They even helped clean up when we were all done. We had so much fun having the bridal shower here, I would highly recommend and will probably return to this location just to have an event here. This is always been our go to place for excellent tasting and good quality food. Unfortunately over the past year this restaurant has changed right before our eyes and not for the good. Within the past year or so they dramatically increased their prices even doubling some of them. And unfortunately with the rise in prices came a decline in the quality of the food. The last two times I have ordered entrées and requested ground beef. The ground beef was swimming in oil as if it was the last in the frypan and served that way. I had ordered a burrito and the tortilla was wrapped around that lame ground beef with a little bit of sauce on top of a bland cold tortilla and it was absolutely almost inedible. Additionally, the exterior of the building is literally rotting away and dilthy and so i question how they can justify the exorbitant prices they are now charging. Also there was no soap in the mens bathroom the last time we were there. I also wonder how the kitchen looks if everything else is rotting away. I am very saddened to have to observe what is happening with what once was the best restaurant...
