Let me start by saying I am generally a big fan of Human Bean. I even google locations when I am traveling as a preference to other coffee places that are closer. But I was taken back by the service (or lack of) when I went for my coffee. The young girl helping us made me repeat my order several times because she was texting on her phone while also trying to take my order. She was very pre occupied… and she got the order wrong to top it off… that’s not the end of the world I know it’s just coffee but as I mentioned I’m a frequent customer so I had a reward to use for my order and it would have been at no charge on this visit and I told her, I would like to use one of my reward at this time (I had more than one available) and she said ok. But then she still charged my card for the drink. I was so frustrated I just left with my 32 oz cold brew that I paid for that was not the the correct drink and I ended up dumping it out when I got home because I didn’t care for it. And unfortunately I’m done frequently my local one all over ice! :/ typically I order a 12oz iced snowy mocha with oat milk in a 16oz cup with EXTRA ICE. A few weeks ago I went in and the barista said management and corporate have said we no longer can do this. I was super confused so I asked why and the answer I was given was. “People are trying to game the system and get more drink I simply responded “what do you mean by that? I just want extra ice and a 12oz amount of drink?” They said yeah idk I think we are going to start implementing a 50 cent up charge.. I said for ice??? Okay. Well I go back today and now it isn’t even an option. I have been a barista for years and even without the experience I think we all know ice takes up space right? Read moreNot sure what has happened within this last year but this location is constantly a let down. The staff is rude, the orders are never correct, and the wait (even when you’re the only one in line) is astronomical. We ordered two large drinks- we were charged for said large drinks that were incorrect sizes and incorrect drinks. Staff didn’t even direct attention back to us to have it corrected. We were ignored. Staff has always seemed annoyed by assisting customers and we regularly get incorrect drinks without them being corrected- or you ask for them to be corrected and they make them incorrect again. We understand that staffing is short but it makes it hard to sympathize when there are multiple people serving a single car and they can’t manage. We love the human bean but will have to find other coffee options...
