The Big Box Outlet — Local services in Nampa

To whom it may concern, I shop at this amazing store almost every single week, sometimes twice a week. I love this store, but that being said, I finally had a disappointing shopping experience. I come on $7 day and on .50 day and in between. I bought many, many motorcycle raffle tickets. This week I bought a $20 "mystery" box and here's my complaint. I spend hours scouring through items that I pick for a tremendously great price, this mystery box was put together and yes, I understand, it's a "mystery" but I was so highly disappointed by the contents I felt duped. There were tons of "items" in the box but nothing of real value, it was pretty much all discard, I felt like I was just taking bits and pieces of junk that was left over, no real treasure. It had a birthday card for a 5-year-old and so many odd ball decorations of all sorts but nothing to cover a room let alone a table. A tiny amount of weather stripping. A Ramadan card. A hose of some sort to some piece of equipment that I don't know nor will ever use. It had a "used" mold that made something, but I would never in my right mind buy a used mold. It had a hard cheese knife repackaged into toy packaging, on and on and on. I was expecting "some" sort of quality in this mystery box, not just scraps of left over junk, hodge podge decorations and basically 95% throw away. There was seriously "nothing" of real use, no towels, no blankets, no socks, no hats, no toys, no puzzles, no calendars, no soaps, no shoe inserts, no candles, no electronics, no gold star items (that sell for $7 - and I just paid $20). I really felt like I was just taking left over garbage from the bottom of a blue bin. I was so disappointed because I absolute love shopping at Big Box and will continue to do so. I love the products, I enjoy the environment, and the staff really is tremendous. But I won't be buying any more...

This place is good, and some of the staff is great but there is a employee that was really rude to me and my brother, I was looking at the item in a box the box was already open literally with no top just open and I pulled out the item to see it closely but the employee told me that I couldn’t open the boxes I told her the box was already open but I just put it back and just left that area and went somewhere in the building then me and my brother were looking at some other stuff, but then that same employee told my brother that he couldn’t open the box, he wasn’t even opening nothing he was just looking at the item then my brother told her it he didn’t even open it, then the employee told my brother that he can’t do it, then my brother told the employee to mind his own business, then the employee got really mad and told us that she could ban us from the store, she isn’t even the manager, then we left, the employee was really rude to only us because we are kids and she wanted to get us in trouble so she wanted to tell my parents but they were mad too because we didn’t even do nothing, don’t come here some of the staff is really...

These people have the rudest customer service ever! They accused my son of shop lifting because he took something that he wanted out of his pocket and put it in the basket. They immediately started calling police and then they told us to leave. I tried explaining to them that he probably couldn't carry all the items he wanted and that he was doing the honest thing. They then accused me or stealing a cord and I didn't have anything in my pockets. Then they just told us to leave before they call police and the lady grabbed my basket out of my hand and dumped it. In front of everyone! They badgered us the whole time we were there! Terrible customer service for a store that is locally ran. You guys are selling dollar stuff that's junk! Not gold you guys are so quick to accuse people of stealing when there not! I'll never recommend anyone going to your store and I'll never return either!!! Bad...
