I am writing to express my significant disappointment with a recent experience at your restaurant. I ordered the Chef's Special Combo Meal and found the included rice portion to be very small, tasteless, and the overall meal overpriced. My dissatisfaction increased when I requested an additional serving of rice and was informed by the cashier that there would be a $2 charge. This was surprising to me, as in Asian culture, it is customary to receive complimentary rice refills with a main dish, especially when the food is spicy or salty. I reiterated my request to the cashier twice, and she then spoke with the owner. The owner, a middle-aged man, came out and rudely denied my request with a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. I pointed out that I had paid $30 for the meal and had even left a 15% tip for self-service, yet I was being charged for a small bowl of rice and received such a negative reaction. As a business owner myself, I believe that caring for customers and addressing their needs is crucial for success. This experience was very poor, and I will not be returning to your restaurant. The owner came out while we were ordering and was super friendly and helped us get our food to the table, even though she didn’t have to.

I had the galbitang and it was good. Meat was falling off the bones literally, and the broth was yummy. Only caveat was the noodles - they were overcooked.
Comes with 3 barchan items - in my case, soybean sprouts, kimchi and cucumber kimchi.
At $20 per dish in a food court, I’d say it’s pretty steep. Still, I’d come back. Maybe for the Sul-lung-tang (cheaper but...
