Giving racist vibes. Not a coincidence!! My family and I have eaten Giordano’s pizza for many years at different locations. This was our first and likely last visit to the Naperville location at 3224 S Route 59. The host appeared to have a weird expression on his face (not a smile) as he asked if my party of 3 was dinning in. The restaurant was not very diverse that evening in fact I did not notice any other ethnic groups only what appeared to be Caucasian customers and staff during our visit. We are not Caucasian. It was a Thursday evening, it’s not likely 3 people come in if it was a pick order and the place was empty so yes it was only tree in our party. I Didn’t think too much of it because I’ve experienced poor customer service from a hostess unfortunately it happens not to excuse it. The waitress name is Samantha B. AKA Sammy was the name listed on her name tag. The establishment was not busy at all and there was a small group already seated near the area my family and I were seated in a booth near a front window. The whole row was empty until approximately 30 minutes later when a couple came in. They were seated in the next booth behind us.
We ordered a stuffed pizza pie and wings for appetizers. It seemed to take a while just to get our three drinks (a soda, lemonade and water).
I noticed how quickly the couple was greeted and received their drinks fast. The waitress brought out their appetizers “FIRST” and then placed our appetizer on the table after they were served. Excuse me? That’s when a red flag went off. Unless it was a matter of something not being ready you should be served properly in the order of arrival. Why would a hot appetizer (wings) be served after a cold salad? The second red flag was getting served AFTER this same couple a second time. The waitress placed their pizza on their table FIRST and then said and here you guys go when she placed our stuffed pie on our table after and walked away.
This definitely gave off a racist vibe and there is NO logical explanation that we were served both times a couple who arrived at least 30 minutes after us.
Even my 10 year old daughter noticed this was not right. I did not tip. The wings were all flaps instead of a very small drumstick with missing meat. Shouldn’t they ask if your preference before serving all flaps?

Read moreWent there once after returning home from a stressful trip abroad. I was with a party of about 7 people. Ordered 2 pizzas. Like always, DELICIOUS. HOWEVER, upon our arrival, we of course, ordered drinks, as the drinks made it to the table, the waiter spilled it completely on one of the ladies in my party. Now, I understand situations like these when someone is new or in training. If I recall correctly, it was a MANAGER who did this. Another thing I understand, accidents HAPPEN. The way the situation was handled was to say the least, awful and unprofessional. She apologized and continued on. After we asked what would happen other than an apology we received a few answers. First they promised to take care of only the lady's drink. We assumed that would be self explanatory. Not happy with the simple drink being taken care of we asked if there was a way to get any percentage off the bill. By this time our order had been taken and it was over a half hour wait. We were still on hold to as what the manager would decide. The guy who was serving us said SHE would get a free appetizer or the free drink. I couldn't take it anymore so by this time, I asked for the manager's name and the corporate number. They hesitated to provide these to us. The lady had to sit through the entire meal with SOAKED pants, freezing cold lemonade. And once we received our bill we noticed, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAD BEEN DISCOUNTED. Read moreMet up at this location with coworkers and friends Sunday evening. We were a party of 12...with a few late arrivals. Our server Gracie handled our table with Grace ... She was so attentive to each person's order. Most of us had customized pizza orders... Bbq wings were 🔥 🔥 🔥 paired with buffalo wings and fried Calamari. Somebody had spaghetti and meatballs.... Our table was full of food and drinks. A great time with great food was had by all of us. I don't know how Gracie was able to handle each request for this that and the other. But she did... Gracie its the lady that relocated to Texas. Thank U again for your excellent service. U were so kind, very thorough and patient. Manager of this 95th and Rt 59 Naperville location please recognize Gracie for the service she provided and give a special tangible commendation of some kind... I hope Corporate reads this and also recognizes Gracie. Great Customer service is very rare these days but not at this location and definitely not while Gracie is there. Kudos to this Giodarnos location. I chose it because they've come to our rescue many times when we've planned last minute celebrations at the job.
