Mr. Shesha Hookah Lounge — Restaurant in Naperville

This place it located right by Patel Brothers (Large Indian Grocery Store) and multiple other Indian stores in that area. Although this place has no links to the Middle Eastern heritage but the owner has done a decent job creating ambiance setting at this Hookah Lounge. We went there on Friday night around 9PM and my first impression was not very positive.

Ventilation for Hookah Lounge was subpar and you can see a layer of smoke in the lounge when you enter. They have their front door open with a vacuum cleaner parked by the main entrance. Their menu and hookah selection is not very extensive. There were couple of appetizers listed on the menu and some coffee and tea options. Prices were on the higher side. I felt I was paying 5 star lounge prices at at 2 or 3 star place.

We ordered Matka Chai (black tea) and a other drinks and appetizers. However we were informed they were out of appetizers. Hard to believe that ran out of food on a Friday at 9pm when 75% of the lounge was empty. One thing that made me very unhappy was that we were told that we can’t sit there unless we order hookah. But that will allow us to sit there for 10 or 15 minutes without hookah. Was extremely surprised by that statement as our order for drinks and other times was over $200 and they were required us to order hookah. Service was the biggest disappointment, their staff lacked the basic courtesy and were downright rude. Towards the end I put 30% tip and not a word out of the servers mouth and telling us thank you for visiting them etc.

Based on the lack of food options, horrible service and expensive prices. I will not recommend them. There are plenty of other options in Naperville area that you should try before...

I was in town visiting from LA and my friends and I wanted to smoke after a long day of traveling. For context, I’ve worked at hookah lounges and pack my own bowls at home almost daily. I would say I have pretty high standards and understanding of hookah in general… that said, Mr Shesha was great!

To start, there is ample parking up front and we pulled up on a busy weekend night. The lounge was packed. There were people seated outside and inside…yet the server greeted us before we even got to the door and gave us menus right away. There were 2-3 guys working the lounge and they were on top of it. They took my order right away. I saw a brand and flavor I had never tried before so I was down to try something new. The guy nicely told me that the flavor in general is pretty harsh and I appreciated him being open about it up front to let me know in case I wanted to switch my order. I was like let’s just try it and see what happens. He was right, it was definitely a little harsh when it first got to me but it was the flavor itself that was just strong. After about 20 minutes or so and me taking a coal off.. it was hitting a lot smoother. We also ordered two teas and the guy was accommodating to my request for sugar. Tea was great and he had to me within 5 mins. Each time I flagged a server down, he came right away.

The ambience and vibe is also great. Couches are comfy and the music and decor in the lounge is awesome. Hookah was good too, but the service was all you could ask for. Not sure if I’ll be as far out as Naperville again next time I visit CHI, but would love to...

Me and my co-wrokers recently enjoyed a hookah session at Mr. Shesha in Naperville IL and it was excellent! The flavors were rich and smooth, providing a delightful smoking experience, and the smoke was pleasantly dense.

I especially loved the variety of flavors available, which added to the fun. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, perfect for relaxation with friends.

Also, they open at 12pm which allowed me to work at the lounge up until 4 pm. The best part is they do not play any music until 4 pm. I was able to take my meetings and work in a quite environment. I was so bored working at home , now this place is definitely my to go place to , eat, smoke and work all at the same time.

Lastly, We tried several hookah blends, and each one was smooth and flavorful. The lounge also offered a great selection of drinks and snacks, which complemented the hookah perfectly. They also allow outside food, so we got some burgers, fries and wings from The burger life next...
