Uncle Pete’s, the best (thin crust) pizza in town. We’ve been getting uncle Pete’s for as long as I can remember, and I have fond memories of Dad walking in with the huge brown boxes with images of Italy on the top, a pastiche of Italy, if you will, in the same way that the pizza is a Chicago pastiche of a real Italian pizza. We got the same thing every time, an extra large western and an extra large pepperoni with onions. And I remember how excited I would get that we would have pizza and leftovers for days to come. Most recently, we ordered the same thing, me and my brother were both back in Naperville for Christmas, and after weeks of discussion we had decided that at some point on our visit we HAD to order uncle Pete’s. Except as the adult sons me and my brother had accepted the Herculean task of picking up the pizzas. The pizzas were not ready when we arrived, so me and my brother mired at the many photos of movie stars of times past pasted up on the wall, commenting on the similarities and differences they shared with us today. The movie stars is a funny touch, as they are arranged as a restaurant would put up autographed photos, but none of them are signed, and all of them are too high level of stars to have ever visited Naperville. During our wait the manager Jenny settled a debate on who Clint Eastwood was, starting a trend for her help-fullness to come. I hate to say it, but we waited a very long time. There was some issue with the toppings, and we waited in uncle Pete’s for around 40 minutes, or 30 minutes after our original pickup time. When we finally got the pizzas I couldn’t help but have a slice in the car and it instantly launched me back to a simpler time, one where Dad might let you have a slice of his western pizza, but really we knew the pepperoni was the kids one. To our dismay, when we opened the pizza at home we found them to be over cooked, and the toppings spread unevenly. In an uncharacteristic fashion Uncle Pete had rushed our order. We looked at eachother as a family in grimaced glances. Weeks of anticipation had culminated in this disappointing moment? We had to do what no one wants to do, we had to call, a daunting task always reserved for my mother. Following the call with Jenny uncle Pete’s made one of the most impressive “make goods” I have ever seen. Jenny personally delivered 2 replacement pizzas that were, as I’ve reviewed, absolutely deserving of a 5 star. I’m impressed by uncle Pete’s customer service and I will always order from them when I am hankering for a thin crust pizza.

We were visiting the town for an event and stopped by because I noticed this hole on the wall type of place when I drove by last time I was in town and thought it must be amazing to be able to survive for this long. This quaint place looked very interesting with a bunch of b/w photos of Einstein next to young Jack Nicholson and other celebrities. Unfortunately, the overpriced pizza tastes ok but it's not what we had hoped for.

Pizza is just ok. I don’t like to rip on local businesses but the bacon had a funny plastic like taste and smell.I pulled as much of the bacon off the pizza as possible. My wife said Walmarts market fresh pizzas are better. I really had high hopes for this place but I won’t be coming back. Maybe keep it to simple ingredients if you order from here. Sorry uncle Pete’s it just wasn’t enjoyable

Sorry to hear, Uncle Pete's has been sold & the new owners managed to let it go from a Great Uncle Pete's to a poor Average Joe Shmoe pizza... Some say & I agree, it tastes off like it's the sauce! Again, they got to mess with a good thing & results speak for themselves! Original owner turned me on to the White Pizza & I got it Xthin here & at many places! A VEGGIE PIZZA no less, but now Uncle Pete's can't get it like the way it tasted, so it could be the dough!! Maybe both too ! Ugh! Because I got a Xthin sausage & mushroom & that tasted off!! It's got to be the dough & or the sauce too... Whatever it is, using just a name to make money, while advertising 30 years in business is in poor taste, pun definitely intended... Uncle Pete’s was est. 1980 in Naperville. •Uncle Pete’s has been locally owned and operated for over 30 years. It's 2023... Case closed... SAD...

Remember Santucci's Pizza on Ogden Ave & Columbia back early 70's American Cheese!! Don't think they saw 1974... I use to cringe looking at it out the backseat...

They offer a variety of very delicious pizza that is just the right crust thickness. My boyfriend doesn't like pepperoni pizza, but this one we got he loved. I also want to give a shout out to the customer service of this establishment. It is amazing. I work customer service and I can really appreciate it. We got the wrong order delivered and when called they were super nice about it and brought us a free medium pizza of our choice. And the delivery guy didn't even take the tip, he just said it was their fault. I haven't had such nice service in a long time. They do care and it shows. I would highly recommend. Give it a go, I don't think you will be disappointing, I know I wasn't. Me and my family will...
